What's new

India turns to Russia to help supply arms to Afghan forces

Then they should give money for 200 Mi17s and 200 Ka-60 along with ex-US Marines AH-1Z from US all of them.

Number built1,271+
Although 300 of them can be brought to Afghanistan easily with Indian funds.

Who is crying ?
We simply fill a cheque for Afghanistan.

Our interest is there because of the mining contracts that's why we will work for the stability of the Afghan armed forces and i don't think it would be a free cheque.

So how much have the Marines have Super Cobras which the Indians can bought for Afghans with upgrades??? I am not talking about the new ones but older version.

The mining contracts are more to boost the internal revenues of the Afghan economy and wean them away from dependence of drug trade. Though one can say that we do look at it as a corridor to energy sources of Central Asia.

Our interest there is more towards stability and to prevent Islamist terrorists from getting a free run in a country that cannot defend itself. These jihadi's are our major security risk now and in the future.

Please stop your invalid logic. For some thousand tribal people you think that we have gone there. So you think our companies have gone there not for profit ?

Don't try your hand in business if you use your retard logic,

Do a simple cost benefit study - and include huge investments and the manpower, diplomacy, training Afghan officers, providing medical aid for the Afghans, providing scholarships to thousands of Afghan students

yeah the invisible minerals - that haven't been mined yet for the last 13 years is why India wants to arm the Afghan forces - who will guard the mines that we open.

Also google what AF-PAK is famous for - I bet your @ss it isn't famous for minerals.

Yeah - the only purpose is to suppress Islamic terrorists from spreading their poison and their weird Shariah and again turn Afghanistan into a Taliban state.

The mines are being looked into to provide a steady inflow of revenue so that they do not remain dependent on foreign aid for long.

Its clearly visible which type of retarded logic you are applying and turning the foreign policy and international relations into something very untactful type of policy.

Afghanistan is having mineral resources worths billions and those minerals are untouched and Afghanistan Government has allowed certain Indian companies in that sector since the last 8 years and the second thing India access into central Asia oil fields and here it was never about Shariah and this great game in Afghanistan is nothing new. Taliban coming into power was mainly to stop Iranian access in that zone which in real have paved way for Indian companies.

These Shariah talks are nothing but related to Afghan tribal laws which certain people doesn't want to understand and because of their idiocy blame it on Islam.

oh, so you are a Muslim and have a problem with the usage of "Islamic" word isn't it? OK, i'll refrain from using it and let's both of us hope that the reality changes magically.

OK, let's break down the crap you just typed in there.

You clearly have no idea what you seem to be blabbering there. Our primary concern is terrorism.

India was a top target of Afghan-based extremists during the Taliban rule and has repeatedly warned not to distinguish between "good and bad" militants.

"We will consult very closely with India and with others in the region," Kerry told reporters in New Delhi.

The great game funded by petro dollars is about Shariah and consequently a large Wahaabi Islamic (I had to use that word) belt.

A load of BS.

Keep believing that - at least the people who matter know otherwise.

India don't want stability in Afghanistan. They simply wants to increase terrorism so that they could make Pakistan's both borders unsafe.
what you are referring to as terrorism is terrorism for terror outfits and ISI's foul play in afgh.

Doesnt India produce these arms at home? Why does it have to turn to Russia for small arms when India claims to have one of the biggest defence companies?

Doesnt India produce these arms at home?

No it doesnt... Indian millitary uses a vast amount of Russian products and since Afgans have been using the same products for years now, so it would be easy to adapt for them...

Why does it have to turn to Russia for small arms when India claims to have one of the biggest defence companies?

Thanks for your cheering, but we dont have any biggest defence companies and nobody claimed so...

India begging on behalf of Afghanistan? Someone is interested in meddling in other's matters and then try to pretend to be innocents!
India is "paying" for the weapons not begging that is "Pakistan's" trait.
