I think these guys are like remnants of colonialism, these families have done a a lot of damage to our countries. I don't know about Congress but Bhutto ruined Pakistan's economy with his nationalisation programs during the 70s.

And Nehru's blinded love for socialism which trudged on and on under Congress was no different ..red tape, corruption, mass blunders etc were his legacy it seems. The alternative was the BJP. I don't know whether it is true, but I have heard that in certain states if there is a communal riot the Congress would insist that equal numbers of both communities were arrested. As is often the case one or other party was more or less involved in the riot depending on what happened, so in order to balance the numbers they would arrest random young men from the streets !

I hope this is not true, but could be Congressi ishtyle similar logic.
