India 'too democratic' to overtake China as economic superpower

Not a theory, Dravidians were the original founder of Meluhha. And South Indians and other Indians with Dravidian ancestry have claim over it. Pakistani claim on IVC is like white Europeans claiming Native American culture. :cheesy:

It means half of India has Aryan ancestors plus a % of dravidians that have atleast 1 aryan ancestor, making it so only about 2% of PURE dravidians can claim IVC!

Moron!

Btw u Dravidians claiming ancient Indus valley civilization culture is the same as Europeans claiming Native Aerican culture..

u guys are invader from Africa who took over the south tip of India and mixedin with the natives (Indians)

Pakistanis don't claim Dravidian ancestry but we Indians have mixed ancestry. Sumerian writing proved that people of IVC or Meluhha spoke languages similiar to modern South Indian languages.

So it means the people of the IVC (Pakistan) gave you Dravidians your language!

Because they were Dravidians too.

But how? They had a similar language- fine- but couldn't they have given it to the Dravids?

It seems highly probably as IVC culture was far superior than any Aryan or Dravidian culture

half baked information. :cheesy:

i would think any yindoo with common sense needs to take only one quick look at the macaqueish mug in ggagawatt's avatar and learns to quietly shun any future discussion of indian biology. but i guess a macaque that might take that mug as an avatar can see beauty in macaques where human eyes cannot.

Actually Pakistan still has a little spoken Dravidian language - called Brahui.

That's why we need a strong leadership under Modi.

Gross domestic product growth will continue to lag behind that of China because India pays more attention to minorities and to the rule of law, according to Matthew McCartney - director of contemporary south Asian studies at Britain's Oxford University.

And if we go by the opinion of Pakistani and Bangladeshi members we are muslim and christian killing factory.

This title can come means Indian democracy model has failed, most of Westerners believe democracy is the only model but India showed a negative example.

There is no problem with democracy or democratic form of Government chosen for the people by the people .

All form of government needed strong leadership which not case as far as India is concerned.

no offense, even Chinese form of government has its pit-fall until Deng Xiaoping,

China is where it is now, coz of his strong leadership and market reforms ideas, but even with a single party's government ( who rules with iron fist) it took china more than 20 yrs of experimenting with reforms to reach this state.

Cheers

I really appreciate your grasp of the economic metrics.

I mean Germany is the technical giant that the rest of the world should look up to.

However in this thread, discussing German economy and comparing it to Indian one, is to put mildly "comparing apples to oranges".

While Germany has 300+ years of history in scientific development, India barely started its tech march recently and even that was based on British / English education.

So please keep the histories of India vs. Germany in mind before picking and critiquing things that are Indian.

Thank you

Well, first of all, there was no Germany 300 years ago. We had the Kingdom of Prussia, the Kingdom of Hanover, the Kingdom of Bavaria, the Kingdom of Saxony, the Kingdom of ... and 100s of principalities and free cities. We became Germany in 1871. In the European context, we were a latecomer.

Secondly, you were the one who claimed that being an English speaking country gives India some kind of advantage, and yet most developed countries, regardless whether they started industrialisation 150 years ago (most European countries) or 50 years ago (SKorea, Taiwan), none of them uses English as their national language. So, your claim that English gives you some kind of advantage is not based on any historical facts.
