Light Fighter 5 th generation will be based on technology heavy promising fighter
MOSCOW, April 16. (ARMS-TASS). Light Fighter 5 th generation will be based on technologies promising a heavy fighter ( approx. Fig. left ), currently being developed, said korr.ARMS-TASS news agency the president of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) Alexei Fedorov, who visited the 10-th International Salon " Engine 2008 ".
"In Russia today, all financial, intellectual, technical and manufacturing resources of the aviation industry are focused on the creation of a heavy fighter 5 th generation. We can not spray them, and must complete this program. Only then can consider the establishment of a light promising fighter on the basis of derived technologies ", - A. Fedorov.

This project was shelved long back..T-50 from Sukhoi was chosen instead even though India was supposedly more interested in this..
May be some inputs from this will be used in AMCA..
