India refuses visas to Pakistani patients

Wrong figures...
Angioplasty is 2 to 3 lacs .ie 5000 usd in best private.
Maybe these are for western patients.

You are wrong. Its the expertise.
When you go for a complicated procedure , the criteria is a experienced surgeon and then hospital.
From personal experience.
No one minds paying a lac extra if survival chances improve substantially.

Not really.

As I said before... liver transplants were rare in Pakistan and very costly... not every poor man could pay almost 10 million for it.

In India, its cheaper.. hence many patients had no opportunity.

Army is attacked, army will respond.. Unlike in past, the army is given free hand.

Stop acting dumb, how is he deflecting attention by stopping ties with enemy nation or denying visas to them? Also I am not GOI spokesperson to answer your stupid question! If you can raise your voice for your so called cousins here, I am sure you can ask that question to Sushma or others as well. Try twitter, you sure will get response!

How do you know Army was not given the free hand before?

He is just hiding behind Army's skirt rather than lead from the front.

Live transplant are still expensive in Pakistan, government is doing something though and things should improve in couple of years. Not sure if they can compete with cheap Indian doctors but let's see.

If a doctor is experienced in certain procedures, then they are not considered as cheap. The hospital have to pay a very good scale for such doctors...

And PDF doesn't need you,go complain somewhere else.
Its free internet, servers hosted in America! Who is complaining here?, I am just stating the facts! They are tough to digest though!

KARACHI: The Aga Khan University hospital (AKUH) has become the first medical centre to introduce the new advanced brain surgery technology, Neuro-Robotic Exoscope, in Pakistan and the only hospital outside North America to have advance neurosciences equipment.

“Doctors from Singapore and India will come here to learn from neurosurgeons in Pakistan, Kassam said, adding that this will be a remarkable opportunity for the AKUH.”
Good going AKUH.

Surgeons at Pakistan’s leading hospitals are benefiting from the introduction of advanced surgical equipment that enable highly precise surgery on the body’s most complicated organs, according to experts at Agha Khan University (AKU)’s Surgical Innovations for the Developing World conference.

“One can hardly find such an institution in the world where people get world-class treatment free of cost and what is spectacular here is that everyone in the 2,000 odd staff has the similar urge to serve the people.”

Ofcourse it is utterly shameful,if u consider us "mortal enemies" thn atleast behave like enemies.
Jaan bachane ke liye jani dushman ke paas bhagna aur haath jor kar khare hojana,,hmm very martial.

N for ur kind information,,not all Pakistani patients pay for thr treatment.most do,,but thrs a considerable lot who go for govt. hospitals whr they recieve free treatment.
I think i have posted a video regarding this before.
This 70yrs of indopak saas bahu series is just cringeworthy

Exactly! We are enemies.

I am happy with this but at the same time i am getting gut feeling that this is not good. Maybe because i dont have religious zeal and value Human life more....

Liver transplant is being done in SIUT, Karachi, Shifa Isb, AKUH Karachi, Sheikh Zayed Lahore and a few more in Pakistan...this is about lack of knowledge that these facilities now exist in Pakistan.

No one can match the dedication of Adeeb Rizvi and his team at SIUT Karachi...

You do realize only 41% of India can speak hindi , indian best hospitals for medical tourism are at west Bengal and south Indias silicon cities .

So you are going to end up speaking English anyway.
Wrong. I am a native gujarati speaker and i can safely say that majority of India (90%+) can speak Hindi.
