dude understand. Tamils in SL is personal to Tamils on India. And is not a one sided affair. Even Tamils in your country look towards is for their will being. So a PM of India has its internal constituency to address.

Now wee can always argue and try to go back to why all this bad blood started? We will only get back to 1975 and find out why all this started between Tamils and Sinhalese? You know who is responsible for this civil war in Sri Lanka.

You have to go way back to the 1800's to see where all these started.. In Tamil Nadu.. Dravida Nadu was a Indian Tamil project, Initiated then and when failed in the 1960's imported to Sri Lanka (You can actually thank the Chinese for that) Dravida Nadu - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Ofcause short sighted divisive political policies of successive Sri Lankan govts did pave the way for them to make it an excuse

You guys are so naive about the history of the conflict because you only get one side of the propaganda, Us we have studied it thoroughly.. On all accounts.. Simply because we had no option it was a part of our lives for 30 long years.. So we know how, What and when it all started and whose fault.. Just like how you may know indept facts about the Kashmir conflict than us

In the end it does not matter how much the Indian Tamils voice or scream blue murder.. Solutions given will be on a basis of a Sri Lankan solution not an Indian imposed one, And If India tries to go beyond it's mandate.. You can bet there will be huge reversals in to the robust foreign relations Mr. Modi is trying to revive.. There is no reason Indo Lanka relations should be attritional or why it should not get stronger.. But the ball is on the Indian side on how to play it, Without putting all thier apples on the motives of the Tamil polity.. Tamils in Sri Lanka constitutes to mere 11% of the population.. (Thats Sri Lankan Tamils), Not Indian origin ones, Indian origin or plantation Tamils were never part of the conflict.. And out of that 11% more than half live out side the Northern province.. Which is claimed by their politicians as thier ethno linguistic exclusive homeland.. Capital Colombo is essentially a Tamil majority city.. Sri Lanka is one of only 3 countries in the world where Tamil is a national language (India is not) and that too to pacify a mere 17% of people that speaks it.. Under the constitution there is no restriction for any body born in Sri Lanka to have have rights over another citizen.. Contrary to propaganda any person including Tamils have the right and can run for presidency in the country provided that they do it on a national platform.. And we have precedents set for that
