TBH the best best Chance Pakistan had to resolve the Kashmir dispute to its favor (after 1962 China-india war) was Last year 2020 after the COVID pandemic struck. Reason being during this time India was on a complete strict lockdown in a panic mode, their economy contracted -25%, the world world especially the US under Trump was focused on domestic issues, India was also preoccupied by Chinese incursions.

March 2020- September 2020 was a golden period for Pakistani forces to create. a major escalation because the world would have done nothing and India would have been caught by complete surprise. Instead our Generals were busy with God knows what and im afraid such a golden moment wont ever come again.

Pakistan is facing an existential threat. The issue is not Kashmir or terrorism. The issue is the existence of Pakistan and the existence of Muslims in the sub-continent.
Any fascist regime first attacks its own minorities, and then turns on neighboring countries.

I guess the reporter was asked to overstate the threat presented in the Indian subcontinent and obviously paint the worst case scenario in the report.
I’m sure Washington indulges in similar reports across regions (greater importance given to Western Europe for obvious reasons).

Nonsensical cheap reporting. Yes US can go to war with Russia, US can go to war with China, US can go to war with India, Russia can go to war with UK, China can go to war with Japan etc etc. There is a big big difference between likely to happen and highly unlikely to happen, It is highly unlikely that India will go to war with Pakistan unless it wants to suffer catastrophic consequences that will destroy India as a state. That goes for any other fantasizing nation on the planet.

These last 2 years Pakistan and India have come closer to war than in the past decade put together.
