There's been a lot of delusion going on in this thread about "balancing" China, and especially foolish posts stating that China couldn't attract allies. Let me administer a dose of reality: allies are gotten by strength. Small and weak countries ally with those that can protect them and they have zero sense of loyalty, only a strong instinct for self-preservation and a very short memory. Today, that protector is the United States; tomorrow, it won't be. As China's power grows, all of America's allies (yes, even Japan) will jump ship and defect to China. They have to, because the first ones that do will obtain an enormous advantage over their regional rivals.
A certain weeb who shall go unnamed fantasized about Vietnam reaching a trillion dollar GDP. Well, he'll have to wait a quarter of a century for that to happen. I hope he's patient. Meanwhile, China's GDP will by then be at least 35 trillion USD (nominal, likely 50+ trillion by PPP).
You do not understand geopolitics and China's utter lack of cultural attraction.
Think why Superpower Soviet Union had next to no real allies.
lol @ Japan allying with China.
