India may Drop Russia Completely

In due time, India can probably stab Russia in the back. When India is ready to join the US camp. I think India should do so now while it has leverage instead of beg to join the west in the future as the political situation force India to do so.

What are the advantages of joining the "US camp"? Remember the US is offering India technology, even with the close ties India has with Russia, so now the question starts at square one, what will India get for jumping camps? Cheap militay hardware...no, a guarantee that the US will always be there...unlikely, a guarantee that the US will brake ties with Pakistan...unlikely, amunity from future sanctions...again unlikely. Also with all of the cooperation between India and Russian, imparticularly with the Pak-fa i don't see India's policies changing.

India makes money from doing business (manufacturing and specially service sector) from US. Definitly US want some thing in return.
They make China to buy their debt by doing business with them(can't sell them military tech) and will make India to but their military tech.

Indians are milking US (Jobs in US , outsourcing etc) , so US has right to get some thing in return from India too. US has big trade deficit with India as India still is a close market.

India has placed order C-130 worth 2.2 billion, gave Boeing to take orders for Air India! may be C-6 also India will order wat more they want! US also know! for sensitive things and past experiences of India with US wrt sanctions India might not buy something as sensitive and so much in numbers from US!

Every year Indians send 10 billion from US to Indian , if in return India buys 2.2 billion , Is it enough :coffee:

That can not be controlled US govt put taxes only that it can do legally! Also they send money what they have earned and everyone has right to do whatever they want to do with their money! Universal law!

On the other hand US companies save billions of dollars by exporting jobs to India, but than again US workers lose jobs because of it. However at the end US corporations make profit from doing bussines in India.

Further, the US can't "make" India buy their military equipment because private US companies choose to send jobs to India.

US military manufacturing is in private sector and private sectors is know for lobbing in US , every one knows lobbies control US and it is a big export for US, India is big market.

Second jobless people are burden on economy plus they were once taxpayers (US has lost a trillion in Tax income) and where have their jobs gone too............:coffee:

One way affair , not good for US economy. India has to open its market for US including military too.

Buddy life is very competitive unless US doesn't offer something very attractive it will remain the same, India has S/W talent @ lower cost this is wat India offered and US firms accepted, ball is in their courts! if u want cheap products, u need cheap labor to produce it which is wat China and India provides

Who will buy cheap stuff if major lower and middle class won't have jobs in US. One day China will have its own local market and won't be that dependent on US for exports , so will be India.

Not good for US

So large defence contractors such as Boeing and Lockheed Martin moved their facilities to India? Lets, for a moment, say they did, so why does India owe a debt to them? Companies move to save money not because they want to stimulate forign economies. And what do lobbiest have do do with anything? Private companies can pick and choose were and if they want to relocate, thus they don't need to convince anyone of their intent.

India is big market why would they leave it for Russia only. They want business and who is buying India , Who is in India they are.

A company who want Indian business will go to India else they can go to Mexico and Brazil way cheaper then producing in India, logistically.

No one can control whats good or wats evil, this thing happened to US in 1960s also when all manufacturing jobs were gone but then customer service oriented jobs started....now service oriented type of jobs are in India ...its US has to decide wat new kind of job market they want to create here...to start with good healthcare oriented industry....already seen alot many patients on PDF who will serve well for keeping jobs of Americans for a long long time :D

US gov can say no to the companies if they try to move sensitive material outside of the country. So I do not see this happening. If anyone have realize yet, US is very protective of the high tech knowledge. That is why you don't see lots of TOT because US has the most advanced technology out there.
