India may become 5th-largest manufacturing nation: Report

May,will,might,can...
We talk too much about the future and now look at the present...our growth rate is under 5%:hitwall:
GOI must be sponsoring these articles to save congress' face:astagh:

Latest projected GDP growth is 6 to 6.5 % for the year 2013.

theres difference between a prediction and an expectation.

Don't you think it is silly to expect/predict that India will be the number one manufacturer in a decade, when your GDP only grew at 4.5% last quarter?

FY13 Q3 GDP grows at decade low of 4.5% - Economic Times

India's growth potential is around 9-10%, so clearly something is going wrong.

Fix the present situation first, before making predictions about the future.

The boom in Indian manufacturing sector will be led by demand in cutting-edge
engineering services and solutions.
What are the initiatives already taken? What is their real impact ? @KRAIT or anyone who knows anything in this topic?
