India slashes solar imports from China as domestic manufacturing thrives

. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
China owns all rare earth metals in China, Africa and South America.

China controls the whole market and the supply chian through BRI.
Solar panel raw material is silica sand. If India imported Silica sand then India could say they produce solar panel, not just doing assembling.

Biggest Silica sand producer is Indonesia and we will likely ban it soon or later, just like what happen to nickel, bauxit, and expexted later will be chopper next year. We will likely keep exporting silica sand to China since China (Xinyi Group) is planning to invest hugely for solar panel industry in Indonesia, around 13 billion USD in Rempang Island, sits next to Singapore. With the location near Singapore as hub of sea transportation in SEA than in Java Island, then it is very likely intended more for export oriented industry.
