Gurgaon: A case against three men and a woman has been filed in Gurgaon for brutally thrashing another man after holding him captive in a flat. The group also made a video of the assault, which was widely circulated on social media, police said.

According to the police, Roshan had partnered with Sandeep in the business of painting apartments and houses. However, Sandeep refused to pay Roshan's share of the payment he received from the contracts.

Police said Roshan was taken to a flat on March 5 in Palam Vihar and beaten up.

Visuals show a young man and a woman thrashing Roshan with a rod. They punch and kick him mercilessly as another man records the act. "I had told you that we will find you no matter where on earth you go," the man behind the camera jeers, even as seriously injured Roshan pleads for mercy.

Roshan has filed a written complaint days after he was discharged from a private hospital.

The police have registered a case against Sandeep, Ankush, Khajan Singh and an unidentified woman.

"The boy (Roshan) has said in a written complaint that his friend started painting work with him at a private firm. The friend later took the entire money. On March 5, he (Roshan) was made captive at a Palam Vihar flat and thrashed. We have registered a case in this regard," senior Gurgaon police official Preetpal Sangwan said.

Jamahir's comment : The criminal things that money makes us do. No empathy for even those we call friends and business partners.

@Chhatrapati @MilSpec @striver44, will you still support Capitalism ?

what does this have to do with capitalism, This is called haramism

India is a society where money rules supreme and friends and business partners can be thrown away for the sake of money. Whether farmer suicides or student suicides all this is connected to a lot of India being a highly-competitive, dog-eat-dog, Capitalism-oriented society.

@jamahir
May be Roshan is Muslim.

Possible. And that would possibly double the intention of those who attacked him.

And even if he is not a Muslim this is so wrong.

They would join BJP soon if the victim is Muslim which I have strong doubt he is since same happen thing happened before a Hindu goon kill his Muslim victim and posted the video and he became instantly popular so in this case also they deliberately viral the video so the can get fame from majority Hindu population.

Possible.

Though there is also the angle of fight over money. Money makes us do wrong things. Murders and violence generally.

Just when I thought communists can't get any more stupid.

Bruh! Not every capitalist are out there to smack their business partner. And this is not about capitalism, this is simply a crime committed by some individuals.

Agreed.

And this is not about capitalism, this is simply a crime committed by some individuals.

This crime's basis was the assailants didn't want to part with money owed to the victim. The crime's basis was not that the victim had brought less gajar ka halwa to the office.

Let me guess, you're gonna say, if Capitalism didn't exist in India, this crime wouldn't have happened.

Sometimes, I like to read your threads, some times, it goes a bit cuckoo. This one is one of that type.

will you still support Capitalism ? > Hell Yes :)

Look up the meaning of "False Equivalency "

I would take such incidents of stray violation of law and order to millions and millions in socialist forced labor camps / gullags.

I ask you. Would it have ?

Sometimes, I like to read your threads, some times, it goes a bit cuckoo. This one is one of that type.

I see.

will you still support Capitalism ? > Hell Yes :)

Lovely.

Look up the meaning of "False Equivalency "
False equivalence is a logical fallacy in which an equivalence is drawn between two subjects based on flawed or false reasoning. This fallacy is categorized as a fallacy of inconsistency. Colloquially, a false equivalence is often called "comparing apples and oranges." Wikipedia
What is the "flawed or false reasoning" I am making here ?

I would take such incidents of stray violation of law and order to millions and millions in socialist forced labor camps / gullags.

I agree that Stalin's gulags may have been unjust for a lot of people.

.
I ask you. Would it have ?
Well, if humans didn't exist we wouldn't be fighting among ourselves either. Capitalism is going to stay there and for good, so far socialism has brought us shit. Socialist countries went shit. The world developed on Capitalism and authoritarianism/autocracy/monarchy the one's who wanted to experiment with Socialism/Communism is living or in the process of going down a rabbit hole.

You should, come on man, don't you think this is one hell of a stretch?

.
What is the "flawed or false reasoning" I am making here ?

It's the pattern of reasoning that is flawed.
Argument: Stray dog attack a child> Your extrapolation > All Dogs are evil

Argument: Violation of law and order in business dispute> Your extrapolation > Capitalism bad and needs new governance model

Now there are two ways of looking at this paradigm: Either stick to your logical constraint setup and be willing to accept the opposite view when presented with the argument of the similar magnitude

Or expand your logical field to account for statistical data and apply it against the argument you are presenting. you fail to do either of them.

I agree that Stalin's gulags may have been unjust for a lot of people.
"May" Whoa it's like saying the black Plague may have been bad for humans.

but if you had communism in India they will still throw you under the bus for your bread and milk ration. Its just the inner harami-ism that some people carry to do horrible things for other human for small material things.
