India Lost Kargil War

I know many indians will disagree or call me non patriotic and many will say this is already posted.

Kargil War was fought mainly to gain control over peak 5353 (Tiger hill).As this peak has a clear view of india's neck that is NH 1D .This highyway is strategic root betwwen siachen and LEh.As this peak is of very strategical imporatance India was unable to gain it back and pakistan can anytime have an upperhand on india by shelling or destroying this highway.This time there are solid bunkers and an iquipped Pakistan army.

Do you think it is a serious issue to worry?

It's irrelevant. If Pakistan does anything foolish, we will open a new theater in punjab. Pakistan in no way can fight a full fledged war, even if they do, they can't even think of winning it ALONE.

But If this highway is controlled to u think our government has balls to have a full fluddged war,and to you think will be able to hold siachen?

Firstly even I am not sure if we ever claimed back the peak 5353. But that was not the point of Kargil War.

Pakistani Rangers in the guise of militias occupied more than 148 peaks/outposts of IA. That had to be claimed back. And the wise are the ones which turns a disaster into an opportunity. Our leaders though relatively quite inept made full use of the opportunity to paint pakistan in suitable light.

the 9/11 aftermath made that perspective quite permanent. Now pakistan is an international pariah. Nobody takes them seriously in diplomatic circles. Everyone deals them purely from a military angle !

The process of defense modernization which was toned down drastically during the 80s and 90s, was restarted !

I would say Kargil was a good thing to happen. It made the strategy circles awake to the challenges we face and prodded them to think long term !

Firstly they don't have balls to attack us....they are just Chinese puppets

I knw tht as they showed these balls in 65,71,kargil on the support of USA

this time there pups jihadis and terrrists and chinese are backing them.China has to some extend colonized pakistan
