here is combat 101 for you..
in general when enemy is able to take large number of enemies soldiers as POW it means it controlled the battle space from get go, it also means it probably had far less casulties .. In either case india lost 1000 sq KM of land.
On average Chinese soldiers are actually better trained and equiped than most Pakistan infantry (although Pakistan NCO and officer corps is better) it is highly unlikely indians would be skilled enough to cause that many casulties.

IAF attacked us in 26 Feb 2019... PAF launched a punishing response. India was quiet after that.

not true: in pangong for example china claims & patrolled up to finger 4 and india to finger 8. current buffer is f4 to f8. And China used to patrol till F-4. They can no longer come there either. In depsang, india is blocked from its patrol points 8km east of y-junction while china blocked from its point 7km west of y-junction. both deny each other access. India's on paper LAC claim is 18km east of y-junction in what is historically Pla controlled territory. Which is why Indian troops only asserted control up to 8km east of y-junction via patrols. If china had a upper hand it would have escalated in ladakh rather than withdrawing from pangong tso and continuing to be denied access to its patrol line near burtse in depsang. also note all remaining friction points are where india is also denying china access to pla patrol pts

Indians are reminded of their Clash in Ladakh... First admitting they lost 2 soldiers, then it was 10 and finally 20+.
And then several weeks later weeks later we see dozens of Indian POW, battered black'n blue being paraded by PLA.
This is the reality of how your army feeds you in installments.
No Indian has the nerve or stomach to question its Netas and war Lords as how did all these Indians ended up as POW.

all i know is PAF chief want to do all out attack on all IAF bases... IAF was fearful of escalation as it's airforce was completely ineffective
more importantly PAF pilots were accurately bragged that could have shot down at least 9 planes more that day had clearance been given to them, as they exposed a critical weakness in the Su-30 radar/EW systems
ie they would shot down all your Su-30s like ducks.
IAF knew that and resorted to prepared SSM strike, Pakistan Strategic command responded with a counter strile preparation (ie nuke response) ... lucky for you Trump intervened and save your silly india again.

Every infantry battalion has Ghatak platoons that lead attacks and function as 'shock troops'. While the Indian reinforcements arrived, the Indian team stepped deeper into the Chinese side, wanting to ensure they didn't let large numbers of aggressive Chinese troops get close to the LAC.
