I only had the chance to read the article today - I must admit it really did put a smile on my face. I am trying my best to keep a straight face but it is impossible!

I think either the morale in the indian army must be extremely low or the indian general is desperately in need of some attention, hence why he had to make such absurd comments!

Military strategy is sole responsibility of Indin armed forces.

But purchase has to approved from finance and death-long chain lazy from beaurocary, politicos etc. Even foreign office might be involved into this.

Oh I just noticed.....In India, military is not authorised for everything.

No its not the case. It is routine review of doctrine as per current/future scenarios. It is to held after 5 and 10 years respectively.

The whole world is lining in front of India to sell its most modern weapons or export version weapons.

We don't get arms transfer, we throw the money and purchase them with hard cash.

As per use of India against Chinese by western world we can say that in past west has used pak against India and now China is doing the same.
