Actually I just understood all the things you said
Before cumming to PDF I didn't knew that I knew that many words of Urdu I thought they were hindi
Like Alfaaz,Mohbaat
I also learned some Urdu words like Jamuriat
If you open a Persian Dictionary, you would be amazed at how many hundreds of words you will recognize.
Those are all words that came into Urdu language from Persian/Arabic.
Persian itself has hundreds of Arabic words in it. Here are some of the words you will recognize because you use them or understand them thru what you think is Hindi:
Common Persian/Arabic words in Urdu like Ibtidaa, Mushkil, Aasaan, Mumkin, Imkaan, Mulazim, Zameen , Daulut/Daulutmund, Salook, Faqeer, Badshah, Wazeer, Ghair, Dost , Dushman, Aadi, Mujrim, Muzloom, Munasib, Ilzam, Intihaa, Aashiq, Ashq, Muhabbat, Nufrat, Muqabila, Manzar, Khoobsurat, Fursat, Moqaa, Mahal, Farash, Mahtaab , Aftab, Hamdard, Ajeeb, Ghareeb, Intiqaal, Zubaan, Zulm, Ilm, Maal, Intizaam, Aaesh o Ishrat, Darja e hararat, Husn, Haseen, Insaan, Fareshtay, Fuzool, shaitaan, sharam, Muntiq, Maslayhat, Marz, bimar, sayhat / Sayhatmund, Humsaaey, Mohsin, Mukhalif, Omeed, Intayqaam, inqilaab, Ghaaib, Ahtaram, Istaqbaal, Imtihaan, Sabaq, Moseeqi, Mazi, Haal , Mustaqbil, Darakht, Undaaz, ahle Khana, Pusht, Simth, Darya, sumandar, Ghiza, Paida, talism, pasand ya napasand, etc.
These are just few easy words I am rambling as they come to mind. But I think you get the idea. There are hundreds such easy words that won't appear foreign to you but they are part of the language you speak or understand. Whether you call it Urdu or Hindi, it is the same language and its origins are all from Farsi/Arabic
