India Developing, but still a long way to go

Bill Gates MS coming up with special tech. devices to track Gau Rakshaks and to trace Cow smugglers...it seems.

Do they have one for people shouting some specific names and slitting people's throats? Maybe you are feeling left out because they have not made one for people using vehicles to run over "other" people?

.
Bill gates comes very frequent in India and so many tech giants including Mark zukenberg(Facebook).India is a Tech giant and according to NASSCOM, the sector aggregated revenues of US$160 billion in 2017, with export revenue standing at US$99 billion and domestic revenue at US$48 billion, growing by over 13%. USA accounts for more than 60 per cent of Indian IT export.

I read somewhere that
  • IT is India's oil
US $ 99 Billion and growing, India's IT exports are worth a cool US 1 Trillion in PPP terms, per my calculation re: India's infra. deficit which is based on sand-cement-rebar-labour-trucks which in turn is all local and usually more then 10 times cheaper in India.

Indian IT has single-handedly, along with Pharma and Auto, oil refining and diamonds catapulted India to another level. IT has been the most remarkable - it's inclusive and not only spread out but a national type, often merit or knowledge driven dream world for the vast middle class.

Similar revolution may not happen with e-vehicles, aerospace and outer space industries.

GM,Ford and Volkswagen are the biggest achiever for exports from India

Kia Wins Loan Guarantees for India Production Plant

Korea Trade Insurance reportedly will back Kia’s $1.1 billion capital investment in India to build its first vehicle-assembly plant in the world’s second most-populous market, through loan guarantees of up to $650 million.

Support from the state-run insurance company will make it easier for the Korean automaker to raise loans for its investment in India as well as recruit builders and suppliers for the facility, the Korean Pulse business-news website reports.

In April, Kia signed an agreement with the state government of Andhra Pradesh in southern India to build the plant on a 23.25 million sq.-ft. (2.16 million-sq.-m) site. Completion is scheduled for 2019. Capacity of the plant, which will make compact sedans and utility vehicles tailored to the Southwest Asian market, is expected to be 300,000 units annually, the automaker says.

When some one talk about Pakistan's progress, Indians always bring in TATA and co.
Do they not realize we are not interested!

@BATMAN bro, i understand and i fully and totally agree with you, but we can choose to ignore those members.

Kind advice to all, please avoid using unecesssay tag. Many Thanks.

Hating on India has developed into a fine art over generations,
  • and to tune that hate to the auto sector is news? Not!
Simply check how many of India's $ Billionaires come from the auto and vehicles manufacturing sector and you see how which ever way you turn, the semi-skilled labour, steel and alloys related ancillaries and suppliers and assorted eco-system players are also making good.

And all the jobs! I don't mind to give credit where credit is due.

Although I admire Modi, 10% overall growth is not really possible even under him. I would be very very content with 8.5% - 9% and that too not immediately. He first has to clean up the mess left by the Kongre$$ and its socialist hordes.

India will NOT become a developed country in 5 years even if we grow at 10%. Maybe sustained growth over 15 years will make us an upper middle income country of the likes of what Iran is today.

Damn Gujju, you wishes ... and your concerns have come true. Hats - off !

They have their problems and we have our problems, they are huge population compared to us ........ both are not living in a hell like conditions. So I fail to see what is the point of proving my D is bigger than you? Have they finally achieved the best for them?
