I have been thinking, Tata Motors' game must be to take on Toyota. Who else?

Tata's m-cap is almost $ 25 Billion. ~ Pak. Rs. 2.25 Lakh Cr.'s :woot: !

Steel is in-house, technology is in-house re: TCS, Tata Tech.'s, Jaguar & LR and many more buys but most important; it's TCS and other software divisions are raining $'s. Tata group is incredibly cash rich. 1/2 of group Co.'s are not even listed.

If anybody can take on Toyota, Tata can. Hyundai's, and old time VW are already knocking the big 2 - Toyota and Honda. Tata's have 2 major advantages over Toyota. Tata's raw resource, material and labour costs are nothing compared to Toyota.

Mahindra, Indian # 2, can also take on Jap # 2 Honda. Mahindras Korean SSangyong buy-out, think. Mahindra will have to haul ***. For eg. Mahindra can clean up the emerging Af-Pak market and extend it to Iran and all the other -stans. Malaysia and specially Indonesia. Focus on BRICS, specially China re: Honda. Mahindra can kick Honda right out of China if they play cards right. The Chinese hate the Japs. That's it - by leveraging politics Mahindra can replace Honda, 25 yrs. from now.

Ashok, Bajaj, TVS, HM, Sonalika will have to work hard but surprisingly, have it in them to take on the rest of the smaller Jap. Nissan-Mazda-Subaru Co.'s. Suzuki is 1/2 Indian already.

Great news for Indian auto Co.'s is that compared to the Jap.'s or the Koreans, India has natural goodwill around the world, India has vast homegrown markets and auto resources and has less catching up to do in the emerging cleaner, greener, smaller engines + hybrid, electric and specially the auto IT fields. Batteries, maybe. Plastics, material sciences and marketing also.

The Actual, Physical Act of Pak Army's Surrender to Indian Army, Bangladesh War
- Re: Pervez Mush charged today with treason.
What a disgrace. It makes my blood boil to see how our forces surrendered. It is such a disgrace for a soldier to drop his weapon before the enemy. These sell outs surrendered like it was no big deal. I bet if the Indian military had asked them to convert to Hinduism and bow down before a Bhagwan, I bet these sell outs would've done exactly that. Surrendering is not a new phenomenon for them though. I have seen videos of how Taliban were disgracing the dead bodies of Pak soldiers that were left behind by the forces. If you think about it, the only time you leave your dead ones in the battleground is when you yourself are running away from the battleground, which is a form of surrendering. Sucks man.. Sucksss. How can we be proud of these people? They broke Bangladesh, they imposed martial laws and completely destroyed our economy and created more terrorism and political unrest than anything..

OMG that's so direct, straight to the point!

Think about the implications, sad to see Pakistani youths wide eyed fascination for da faujj!
During the Cuban Missle Crisis, China beat India in the 60's Indo-Chin war.No humiliation though.

Diken, MP

I'm not sure if this was posted in this section before...

DIKEN (Neemuch): Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi unveiled country's and perhaps Asia's largest solar power plant at Diken in Jwad area of Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday.
The 151 (DC) MW project operated by leading power generating company Welspun Energy Limited (WEL) has been commissioned eight months ahead of schedule and is expected to cater to power needs of 6.24 lakh homes in the state, besides mitigating over 2.16 tonnes of carbon emission annually.

BJP's prime ministerial candidate termed the day historic and congratulated MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for linking the earth with sky through the project and added that it wasn't only a blessing to MP, but is actually a bliss for entire country.
