India-China: The carrier race

There is no race. China will have 2 nuclear powered AC of more than 100000 tons along with conventional AC that will dwarf
india's largest AC. They will have 2/3 times number of Nukes subs compared to india's conventional subs imported from
France.With a population of 1.5 billion and a country 3 times larger than india, technologically and logistically couple of decades
ahead can not be compared to a country such as india. This kind of comparison is just to belittle china as expected from
an article by a indian for self satisfaction.

We just got independence just before 24years from yours,but now we are in this position now,what about your country.....?.Now you are more or less a vassal state of India.Look at your own back 1st.

So the race will be evenly matched, but china will have more powerful ACs, and we will have 2 medium and 2 larger ones..
Even with 2-3 years of delay, India will manage 4 ACs by 2025 which is enough to defend IOR..

Australia is building two Canberra Class LHD, which are capable of carrying F-35B

So China has a lot of carriers to compete against, India not so much.

IN is looking to procure 4-6 LHD/LPD by 2018 to supplement the 3 IN ACCs by 2022.



+ what fools are saying IN isn't building up its surface fleet to compliment the ACCs? One look at what IN has on order will shock what BS this is.

the cost or larger and advance AC is times higher than small ones. the performance/power is also times. In my opinions, one US 100K ton AC is around 2 Chinese 70K ton ACs, 70K ton AC is roughly equals to 3 of 40k ACs. that metric is based on the same generation of fighters. If one of US AC employs 5G f35 and you dont, then no fight.

one F35 can beat 5+ F16 or Mig31, Chinese J15(su33) has dual engines and more advance than m31. once the J20 or J21 stealthy navy version is on AC, they are more powerful. Chinese dont like AC under 60k, performance wise lose. has no upgrade future.

Well why to get so much disperate from now onwards.
By 2015-16 india will have its indigenious aircraft career and china there owns.
then we can better compare each others capabilities precisely.
Now both countries are having AC which are build during Soviet Era not by themselfs.
!fact will remain same that America will dominate in Ac by both technological and capability wise.

India should concentrate on nuclear attack submarines and land based fighter/bomber .

We dont need more than 3 AC
