If you could reconcile with the Japanese, Americans and France - why not China. Why not live in peace with your neighbour as well as you have established peace with others.
That is why I am saying don't play in the hands of one against the other. You'll be the loser. The bigger ones don't get hurt, they just have set backs from which they can recover, it is the smaller ones who suffer.
At times your answers don't make any sense to me.
I will try to answer.
To understand the problem today between Vietnam and China, one must go back into the history.
The rivalry began about in the year 111 b.c. when the Viets rejected the Han´s rule. We Viets wanted to have an own emperor and to estabish a Vietnamese empire. This provokation lead to the first Han´s invasion into Vietnam teritory.
Throughout the history the Chinese has always tried to stop the Viets to realise this ambition. China fears a powerful rival in the South. Even in times when China supported Vietnam in fighting other enemies, China always keeps this goal in mind. I admit without these endless wars against China, and later the French, the U.S. and again the Chinese, we were close to realise this objective.
