India - Rape problem -

Danish woman allegedly gang-raped, beaten, robbed in heart of Delhi

Again. Why can't we hang or shoot the rapists ?

New Delhi: A 51-year-old Danish woman was allegedly beaten, robbed and gang-raped in Connaught Place or CP in the heart of the capital on Tuesday evening, when she lost the way back to her hotel.

The woman, who flew out of the country this morning, has told the police in a statement that she had sought directions from a group of men to her hotel in nearby Paharganj, when they attacked her at about 4.30 or 5 last evening.

She alleged that they took her to an isolated area, where eight men raped her and robbed her of her iPad mini and all the money, in Euros, that she was carrying.

The Paharganj police said the woman had refused a medical examination. They have registered a case and have rounded up 15 people from the area for questioning.

The police said they were informed by the manager of the woman's hotel at about 8.30 last night that a guest had allegedly been raped. Paharganj houses many small hotels popular with foreign tourists and students.

In December 2012, the brutal gang-rape of a 23-year-old medical student on a moving bus brought angry citizens out on the roads demanding better safety for women in the capital and more stringent rape laws.

The Centre moved fast to introduce stronger laws, but attacks on women have continued with alarming regularity underscoring how unsafe Delhi still is.

The Aam Aadmi Party, which has formed government in Delhi this month, has listed ensuring safety for women in the capital as a priority.

Pakistan - Killing problem -

Murder in the name of Mercy of Mankind

Rest in Peace boy. If not us God will take care of your killers.

A 17 year old Ahmadi Kid Arsalan Sarwar was killed last night by unidentified men in Satellite town, Rawalpindi, while he was helping his Sunni Friends in an event for decoration on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W).

Do you think a great service to Islam has been done by murdering an innocent kid on the Prophet's (S.A.W) birthday?

How to eradicate, What can be done in our countries ? Comments please.

Nothing hard dude ... catch the people who did it , investigate in full make a good case which leads to capital punishment .. Name and shame these people on media , give them some years to live with their crime as well .. make an example out of it for any and every one to understand what will they have to face if they go against the state laws.

May that boy rest in peace.

Should I be surprised that another rape news has been reported from Delhi.....again ??
These days I dont even read beyond the headlines of such news...not because I dont care. Its because I just cant take it anymore. It makes me queasy.
How do we eradicate it??
I have NO idea.

Just shows where our societies are heading to...

Pakistan's issue - How about let loose the army, in other words an operation throughout Pakistan, screen the country catch and kill the terrorists.

India's issue - Promptly catch the criminal. Rape related cases, let the trial take place in a fast track court, quick. Then punish the guilty with death sentence, probably only for rape related cases introduce firing squad. Make the punishment harsh, so that criminals have to think twice before committing such a crime.

At times I find it hard to believe (applicable to both the cases) that the police of the countries, with their countrywide extensive network, are never aware of these plans.

I think it's high time that our countries start Encounter task forces to engage with the terrorists and also the rapists! What say ?

Army operation is not solution in case of Pakistan, One simply can't fight a mind set with guns. However killing top leadership of nutcases will be good start followed by education & strong legislation.

There are nutcase in every country but its wrong to use that as a reason to generalize an entire society ..
You would be surprised with the social problems the supposed "civilised" west has but which don't come in main stream media..

and how can you say that after killing of their leaders they will take lunch boxes and go to school to learn ABCD ?
our peoples and political leadership have soft corner for them IK, JI, JUI , PMNL , ANP , all are their supporters, they hide in mosques and madrsaas and make them their command and control headquarters and if police raid their they simply start yelling that police bring weapons in mosque and blah blah blah ...first we have to remove black sheeps like IK, JI , JUI and etc than attack them by full force ,dont give them chance to flee to cities or in safe heavens

A nutcase is a nutcase, politician or religious cleric is secondary thing. Just blast spokespersons & defender of terrorists and blame it on some xyz outfit of Taliban.

right now i dont think much more can b done to eradicate these problems for near future(we can right now all do is punish these criminals nd damage control by alertness of law enforcement agencies)....

But both india and pakistan need to look to far future....we should make sure we dont face these sort infections in future...the only way is reaching upto 90-99% of education of children till grade 12th(yea govt run those sarkari schools but have u ever seen behavior of students in max of those schools...they are not taught basic manners even...leave alone education about crimes......the teachers are even worse what to say)
education is not the only factor.......we need educated or well aware parents who tell their sons what a girl is.....nd whats the meaning of sister daughter or mother......

what all we are doing is creating fear in mind of those criminals..rapists nd terrorists by taking action against them...we arenot changing their thinking......these infections are spread wide now...we cant controll much of those intentions nd thinkings but we can make sure no such intention/thinking rises in future.........

ps:know its not that easy the way im talking but this is the one of the posiible solutions

Ok lets say 1st step to progress, how many rapists in India and how many terrorists in Pakistan are in jail now. Bring them out, put them under trial in fast track courts and if guilty award them Capital Punishment. These things to be done quick. People should have fear of death, only that can make them think twice.

It may help for rape. But yes for terrorism there are infamous groups operating, based on a specific mindset. That mindset needs to be killed. The top leaders of these organisations needs to be caught, needless to say they are backed by politicians behind the curtains, so that'll be a tough job.

but we are already doing it ! in nirbhaya case we named and shamed the culprits ,
the media , people and police have done their job , its the f*cking legal system which needs to use its balls , we need a fast legal system which can deliver justice to rape victims within 6-7 months , only then something can change. The legal system needs to adapt to changing times , we can't keep following the same old procedures , we badly need special courts to punish these rapists.

@Aka123, You should have at least refrained from clubbing India and Pakistan together in this thread. The problems are very different and unrelated. It dilutes the whole purpose of discussing a solution.
