Apart from the mughals.. who were the invaders? pashtuns right>?
There are more pashtuns in Pakistan than the total population of afghanistan...
Apart from tht it is the Pakistani pashtun tht looks down on the half persionised pashtun of Afghanistan who has always been under the Iranian influence.. so much tht it has even effected their language and now speak the softer version of Pakhto..

I wonder whats the definition of Invader??because,those territories,which you're belong to now,faced more invaders than whats we call now India..its Afghans who ruled over your lands,so do Mongol and countless others...but alas,even now,you're ruled by terrorists and drones and not government..

Not quite its the Pukhtoons, the Persians & the Central Asians who've done that - Afghans & Afghanistan is a recent phenomenon perhaps 200-300 years old !

We can debate this to death but trust me the future for India and its power projection in central Asia is wishful thinking.

CA is a pretty deep shyte hole with it's teeming radical elements - no doubt about that, India will entertain some thoughts of gaining influence there but knows quite well that the situation is irredeemable and counter productive, what we will venture out to do is exert some influence without any loss of life or material with our regional allies the Russians, Afghans and Iranians there.

These are great people who we take inspiration from, our culture and history is incomplete without the rest of the ethnic groups of Pakistan. These people gave us physical, spiritual and moral support, our achievements without them would have been insignificant.

Better talk about the history in last 100 years, NWFP voted for Congress instead of Muslim League while Afghanistan voted against Pakistan's membership in UN, Afghans even ransacked the Pakistani embassy in Kabul after Ayub Khan dissolved NWFP province to form West Pakistan.

Better talk about the history in last 100 years, NWFP voted for Congress instead of Muslim League while Afghanistan voted against Pakistan's membership in UN, Afghans even ransacked the Pakistani embassy in Kabul after Ayub Khan dissolved NWFP province to form West Pakistan.

People of nwfp rejected congress and the undesirable ghaffar khan, referendum showed that very well.

Pained by the rejection of his people who he thought he was the leader of, he didn't even get a burial place from the people he supposedly represented.

While India is spending more than your whole GDP to remove poverty, question remains what are the forces of the land of pure doing? For pakistan everyday is day where it is invaded literally. Never seen a nation that is so tolerant. One advice - Please look above when you step out of your house. You may see your national bird.

That was back in '46 & even then Congress formed a Minority Government in NWFP with 19 out of 39 seats that got reduced further !

And that was partly because of weak Muslim League grass root political work done in the Province before '46 & its upsurge was witnessed in the subsequent Referendum where NWFP voted for Pakistan !

And if one is to talk about the last 100 years - The Afghans got kicked in the nuts by the Bajaur Tribal Lashkar in the '60s when they sent in their boys to wrest control of the area as part of Loy Afghanistan or Pukhtoonistan !

You seems to have no idea of NWFP just before partition, Congress won there with Majority.
Just go through what we have discussed until now, we are discussion about nations. 

Except there was no Afghanistan back then !
Most of those Kings are either Pukhtoon or Turkic in origin & their's was a Tribal or Ethnic Make-Up !

Even Sher Shah Suri can't be considered anything different seeing that he recruited heavily from the Pukhtoon Tribes & counted on their support to propel himself to success !

Yes we are discussing present day situation, and if we consider present day scenario majority of kings or invaders are from Afghan lands.
