If Karzai turns out to be that guy, it will receive the backing - but - until today, it is not him and I don't see him staying in power another year after 2014 no matter how deep it develops its ties with India. But - Allah knows the best.

You people are concentrating on only one guy - Karzai - as if he is the only person left in Afghanistan! Do you guys even know the ground realities there? Do you know what the feelings of the overwhelming majority of the ordinary Afghans are toward India? And do you know what they think of Pakistan, meddling in their internal affairs with the ISI and other intel agencies?

While India is helping Afghans to rebuild their lives, the Pakistani Establishment is busy playing games of intrigue and supping with the Taliban in a desperate attempt to install a pliable government in Afghanistan.

Hello cousin, what you do is your business but remember if you do something that harms our interests or gives platform to others to plot and scheme against us then that could cost you.

Since you mentioned repayments i hope you have not forgotten us in this regard afterall we have taken care of your people for 3 decades now and helped you in your war of liberation.

Why not also take your people who have outstayed their welcome.

Afghanistan is open to all of them but it's now very difficult to adjust inside Afghanistan with low income so it's easier for them to live in Pakistan as they already have earnings and a normal life but most of them (in millions) returned home and their lives have remarkably changed.

Our relations with India has no motive to be against Pakistan; we are neighbors and brothers but one thing is for sure as long as Pakistan interfares in Afghanistan's internal affairs we have the right and obligation to put our interests first and defend ourselves in whatever way possible.

I am always thankful for the heartful, brotherly and honest assistance of Pakistanis to Afghans during these 3 decades; we are here to stay forever and a strong and developed Afghanistan is in the best interest of Pakistan so Pakistan will benefit more than India if it contributes positively inside Afghanistan.

I don't put all the blame on Pakistan we do have our own insects who doesn't want good relations with Pakistan but things are getting better day by day if US don't interfare between us.

Afghanistan was always there on the face of the earth, way well before the time Americans invaded it... why India never thought of helping Afghans under Taliban and even before than under Hikmatyar and Rabbani?

Had India been so comfortable with Afghans, Manmohan Singh wouldn't have been pleading America not to leave Afghanistan. On the other hand, we want America to leave Afghanistan the sooner it can because we know the aftermaths are favorable to us.

Pashtun population in India is 100,000 at best, and these pashtuns migrated after British Empire united South Asia. Many still have kept their facial features which will be gone after mixing with dravidians in coming generations.

I hope after that they stop calling themselves pathans, i mean language is gone, culture is forgotten and now even genetic composition is completly different then whats the point in claiming to be pathan?
