Why did US/NATO hand over the talks to Pakistan?

Honestly - because you are the suckers. Americans hand over the mantle and equally run you down as well - I would have ideally hoped that Pakistani leaders would have learnt their lesson already - but they haven't. Afghanistan as it stands now is beyond Pakistani control and Pakistan is not in a position to exert any sort of influence on Afghanistan - why do you think the much hyped Doha talks (where Pakistan thought it regained it's prime place in Afghan talks) failed very badly? - the Talibani talks atm is just a caricature of what it was presumed to be a few months back.

Why did Afghanistan ask Pakistan to release Taliban terrorists from it's jail?

What difference did it make? zilch, nada.

Afghanistan does not border India. Afghanistan culture is very different from Indian one. How many Afghans live in India? What experience does India has in dealing with the tribal Pashtuns? The answer is zilch. Nishta.

India is the most liked and favored nation in Afghanistan, our billions was well spent.

India wants to go into Afghanistan with fake pre tenses of development and bla bla. The truth is, they want to support terrorism in Pakistan's border areas. Just like India meddled in the Tamil affairs in Sri Lanka.

The truth is we aren't as shallow as Pakistan is, we lost lives, spent billions and have worked hard towards restoring Afghanistan to some semblance of a nation. Believe it or not, Pakistan's troubles aren't because of India is what I feel - the ground realities in Pakistan is because of it's own doings.

Most of Afghanistan is dependent on Pakistan for it's survival with millions of Afghans staying in Pakistan since 1980s.

However, Pakistan is not a fool. If Afghanistan doesn't stop this fake Indian diplomacy, they would be the ones to pay for it.

The whole world knows Pakistan and its agencies will try it's darnedest to try to take Afghanistan back to the medieval times with it's talibani and Haqqani policies, but the internal problems of Pakistan is much greater than Afghanistan and Pakistan is much nearer going Neanderthal than Afghanistan is.

Historically speaking Pakistanis are the first people to have suffered from these central asian horse raiders. But times changes and the scenarios may change in the coming years.
Afghans are proud people with their unique culture, some forces tried to mask that with Taliban and religious color, But this never worked.

India is not the same India of 10th century where kings are trained in traditional warfare and are overwhelmed by the hit and run tactics of these horse raiders from central asia just like persian and arabs who fell for them.
India is now ready for power projection in central Asia.

Not quite its the Pukhtoons, the Persians & the Central Asians who've done that - Afghans & Afghanistan is a recent phenomenon perhaps 200-300 years old !

There was no Afghanistan, you really need to do some research, the land you are talking about was khurasan.

We can debate this to death but trust me the future for India and its power projection in central Asia is wishful thinking.

Most of those Kings are either Pukhtoon or Turkic in origin & their's was a Tribal or Ethnic Make-Up !

Even Sher Shah Suri can't be considered anything different seeing that he recruited heavily from the Pukhtoon Tribes & counted on their support to propel himself to success !
