The Turksish Armed Forces never will allow bandit Countries to steal oil-gas reserves and Blue Homeland ( Mavi Vatan ) from the Turks in the Eastern Mediterranean


It cannot be rational , compatible with international law for an island with an area of 10 km² which is 2 km away from Anatolia ( Turkiye ) and 580 km from the Greek mainland to generate a continental shelf area of 40,000 km²........Realities cannot be overshadowed by maximalist, exaggerated , vociferous reactions.

Uh like I posted in Mavi Vatan thread. And as Ret. adm. Cem Gürdeniz said, this is a wake up call to Greece, the Navtex on what we’ll be doing is going to break Greece’s dream apart. Internationally everyone will have to suck up, and make their stance clear. Be Fair, or be unfair. Punish Turkey economically for this is not even an option for these countries as it will be seen as a political move backing unfairness. EU ascencion is a hoax, Cyprus peace dealings, Annan plan and letting GC into EU as well. Politically we should have blocked Cyprus from joining the EU. It was our politicians mistake for pretending, and EU for pretending that there are no problems.

Sorry but AKP was at the rudder since 2003, and Annan voting including accepting GC into EU happened in 2004.

I would really like to know why they kept pushing for reunification back then. Davutoglu, Babacan, RTE, Gül. We need an answer.

We made EU accept ascension blah blah blah, but the political failure IMO is too great.

The proces of ascension is important, the values EU stands for are important, but like some politicians said, Turkey could become a partner to EU like Norway.

Was it an attempt to make them reject Turkey, in which case they would be "christian club", whatever the political implications/cost are too great, and we've already fucked up the important part, Cyprus.

Germany wanted Polan in, Greece wanted GC in, and so on, but Turkey could have blocked it.

Forced the Annan plan to become "yes" or "international recognition", where all claims from private ppl are null and void regarding land etc., even maras UN resolution becoming null and void.

I do not understand the level of failure to this degree.

Because this was the agenda - how should one have ended the talks from now on ... there were prerequisites ... this agenda has been pursued since the 1940s .... please inform yourself how long Turkey has been asking for a member or partnership... the AKP mistake was - they should have ended it unilaterally ... apparently that didn't work in the first decade - apparently because of money and other reasons - BIG FAILURE! we don't have to argue about that

I think the main reason is that the decision-making power is too big (population, GDP), we would have more weight in the European Council than France or Italy ... many of our arch enemies don't want that ...

Agree - If Turkey had joined the EU it would grant the Turks somewhat similar influence on Europe as during the Ottomans. The EU could never allow that to happen, as such, Turkey's persistency to join the EU was a waste of time.
