Read article before posting crap. Dr. younus asked to include 5 developing country including bangladesh and asked to make G20 ... G25.

At present scenario bangladesh has better prospect then pakistan. This year pakistan has been excluded from the next 11 emerging country by citi bank. Literacy rate in bangladesh is better then pakistan. Bangladesh is emerging as the leading RMG makers, pharmaceuticals products maker to shilp builders, to it and software developer and to manufacture other light industry products. Whats about pakistan... almost nothing even its gdp has slow down to 2%. Whereas gdp of bd is expected to grow 8% by 2013 and 10% by 2017. Bd is a diserving candidate for G20 along with nigeria, vietnam, egypt and pakistan/ phillipines.

Funny thing is Maharashtra alone is twice as rich as Bangladesh with a GDP of over $200 billion..But hey Bangladesh is future power..They're already growing at 6% but 2020 onwards they'll be growing at 100%( actually there's no limit) if possible.

PS They'll be rich state before India can ever be. That is true even if India is developing faster than Bangladesh itself. In India poverty has increased because we have adopted a new definition for a person being BPL.

While in other countries the BPL is defined only as the access to Food, in India the new definition emphasizes on Food,Education and Healthcare expenditures.

If we had taken into account only food expenditures, our poverty would have been much less compare to Bangladesh.

Moreover in industries like Garments and leather Bangladeshi tradders get preferential treatment because they are a "Least Developed Country" while Indian Traders dont. So the same poor in your country have an unfair advantage over the same poor in our country.

Umm ok Pakistan is failing??? Yet there are millions of illegal Bangladeshis in Karachi alone. Just a few weeks ago BSF shot down an illegal Bangladeshi trying to sneak into Pakistan. Your GDP growth is increasing but so is Afghanistan's that doesn't make it the next big economic power though. You have to understand that Bangladesh is not important on the international stage yet. You guys are still considered an under developed country with a very low HDI ranking.
