Include Bangladesh into G20: Yunus to Sarkozy

Yes worst situation thats why poised to grow by 6.3% this year 8% by 2013 and 10% by 2017.

N yes we are in the worst condition thats why bangladesh is emerging as the worlds hub for manufacturing from RMG, to pharmaceuticals to car to ship building to it and software development to manufacture other products.

N yes we are in the worst condition thats why your country is begging for transit from us and also do not forget your country is so poor that it is asking for free transit.

Not really begging for transit facilities.

Paying for it when given so that Bangladesh can be helped with some financial assistance without making it look as if BD is begging.

If India has done well so far without transit facilities, don't you think it can survive some more years without the same?

Only at the end of last year, when our BDR fired only 5000 rounds at your BSF, your BSF did not answer in kind, but started to warn of the consequence if there are further firings. So, this is your BSF. Why talk of Dhamky, and why not brave to fight.

Sorry, I cannot provide any links. Read the then newspapers.

BSF don't want to waste bullets.they know that poor BDR guys will die firing at each other bravely. Why BSF need to fire..

Then great ask your US to include you... who is stopping you... Dr. Younus has asked to include 5 emerging developing country. If pakistan can qualify then its fine. All the bangladeshi members has said it couple of time.

WET DREAMER bangladesh is the poorest country in the region. it is pakistan and sri lanka deserve a place in G20 not bangladesh. you don't deserve a place anywhere. not even in G150. lol :P

India should also tie up with the sub-saharan countries whose combined poverty is less than India's. And do not worry about Bangladesh. Your total poors are 3 times more than the population of our country. We do not need certification from a citizen of such an underdeveloped country.

The world who buys our medicines, ships, jute products and garments know about the good quality of our products. India remains such a poor country that it has to keep its millions hungry to export agriculture goods that also include millions of cows to well-fed Bangladesh. We are paying you in dollar @$3.5 billion per year and thus feeding you, do not forget it.

If you see India china trade imbalance, you will think India is feeding china too. But that would be absurd. You are just one of many countries which imports our goods because you dont have it. Same way the whole world imports from china.

Well fed Bangladeshi?

That is news indeed!

Totally thrilled to know it.

I believe there is some smuggling going on on psychotropic drugs to Bangladesh.

Trying them, are you?

Do you even think before you write? That supposedly 'well fed' is a gift from us to you. enjoy..

Who would think twice before answering a Indian's meaningless trolling? Only civilised people can demand civilised response.

Now, about answer to your question. Indians sell their cows to our smugglers, and some of these cow smugglers are killed by the BSF when they do not pay bribes. Read the news below to know how proteins from India is fed well to our people while you guys live on lentils or vegetables mixed with cow dungs:

BSF shot cattle trader in Dinajpur

A Bangladeshi cattle trader was shot and injured by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) Friday morning at Daudpur border in Birampur upazila of Dinajpur.

G20 represents economically strong countries, but Dr. Yunus proposed a G25 instead that will include five developing countries who have good economic prospects. Dr. Yunus said that the G20 countries neither understand the problems that these developing countries are going through, nor the G20 should decide the fate of developing economies. Dr. Yunus wanted a G25 in order to have their say heard in this world forum.

Sarkozy was polite in his answer, but he did not politely refuse the prospect of a G25. What is a NO today, can become a YES tomorrow. I think, a proposal like this deserves a discussion in the Cannes meeting.

Here in this forum both Indian and Pakistani posters seem to be having undue opposition with such a proposal. Many of them are coming with their own country's economic might in front of a garbage country like Bangladesh.

Well, this kind of thinking that undermined us had placed us in a bullet war against (west) Pakistan. And, we are now fighting a psychological war against a big India. But, today or tomorrow we are determined to make a place in the economic order of the world. Dr. Yunus' letter to Sarkozy manifests one such effort.

Situation has chenged a lot since then.. but whatever the matter did your geroge bush kept its promise???? Answer is no... they just said these sort of oiling word as they needed pakistan at that time to be the scapegoat in the WOT.... If I am not wrong at that time pakistan's economy was strong and was going on with around 7% GDP growth but now it has been slowed to 2%. N likeky to follow number of coming years...n things may go wrong if there is a uprising in the beluchistan and things goes wrong in afghan pakistan border. No offence but this is the reality.

excue me!
the article is only 4-5 month old!
this was released just before the last G-20 summit in toronto or so..
