<sigh!>
The amount you don't know.
There are bhakts among Konkanis as well; Parrekar was one. So what? Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was an arch-bhakt, and a Bengali; so what? That doesn't make me a bhakt.
There are horrendous Sanghis among Telugus, including an *** named Venkaiah Naidu; so do we put @ChennaiDude on a cross?
PS Oh, if you think Goan Christians talk in an Anglo-Indian way, I have a nasty surprise for you. There is a member of the forum who has a very abrupt way of persuasion, and may take the time and trouble to 'persuade' you. You DON'T want to meet him.
The Goan Christians I've had the coincidence of talking to talk in a very distinct way. Call it Bombay-esque. Lots of y'alls and sentences ending with only. Not Anglo Indian in the least but very South and reminiscent of Kerala or Sri Lanka. But very distinctive from a Gangetic belt Indian.
