In Kashmir, doubts that Indian soldiers actually infiltrated across the border ( The WashingtonPost)

Maybe Hanuman power. We should get this secret too.
@isro2222 can you shed some light bro.

That idiot who made that Hanuman remark is the one who said "Pakistan is hell". And his government gladly claimed to have sent their soldiers to hell. Oh yeah hell it proved for them.

God may have mercy on sensible Indians because nobody else will, neither their extremist modi indians nor us Pakistanis for we are being provoked repeatedly.

Yes their is lot of open area and infiltration happen the same route we have taken to enter into PAK also.

We dont have manned stated on every few meters , wires can be cut and cameras can be avoided few times. but the effect that we killed more then 100+ terrorist only on fence.

Stick of topic, lot of pic of Azad Kashmir / baloch human rights , thats different topic. indigenous freedom fighter when killed and no one ever claimed their body.

thats why Indigenous freedom fighter train and came from pak and having pak citizenship.

Well now only India started retaliated in enemy home , till now they have to wait them to cross over loc or attack camp to get them killed

Well these kinda strikes by SF also happened many times in past, but not declared by govt. , this is first time govt acknowledge and declared to them public.

lol MO-120-RT 62 is unguided motor , and it accurate is 10M. lol these unguided things do not used for precision attacks
Why do you need precision attack on a piece of land. Were they missile launching pads that you have to hit it precisely? The whole launching pad is myth created by IA.
And let's say freedom fighters were there, were they waiting there for Indian army to come and kill them why didn't the cross the LOC.
And historically whenever both armies have attacked each other they have taken trophies or some kind of evidence is given. Where is evidence now.

Infact the denial suit India. India was expecting an escalation, which has not happened. As facts come out, it will be damaging for modi sarkar. The event will bring more attention and light to Kashmir human rights abuse and illegal occupation and annexation of the valley in Indian administered Kashmir. The spin that India has called the Pakistani nuclear bluff is a good attempt, but will not work as sane voices in India get past the anti Pakistan rhetoric.

India did not hope for an escalation. Just listen to the DGMO statement. He said, the operations have ceased and there are no plans for further ops. Also he said it was aimed at terrorists and not PA. He also called for peaceful co existence.

Since the colossal failure of the planned and poorly executed infiltration, any plan for further operation will cease till the board of inquiry is complete. India often forgets that any such missions, as tried in the past, are long given away by the Kashmiri population to the Pakistani side. After the current cease fire violations, both sides will find excuses to hit back. Any solid evidence on a planned mission on crossing the LOC and in Pakistani territory, other DGMO's statement to the Indian press, is yet to be seen. Every passing day further delegitimizes whatever military and political mission BJP had planned.

lol, thats why it is commando operations and not regular military movement. PAK army telling the world since it didn't seen any Indian commando that why no operation happened .

Villagers itself said Heavy firing means they must be hearing rockets/ bombs explosion very near but since they are not venturing out they cannot see anything....

PAK and its logic....
really so how can you proof there was anything besides heavy firing on LOC and your sir gi ki strip really happend you got video tapped of the mission coords where it happened i mean you guys destroys 7 hide outs of the terrorist there must be some rumble of the hide outs or dead bodies or even photos of such dead bodies or even a selfie of your commando with a dead pakistani terrorist would work ???? anything besides your DGMOs words or do you agree with your defence minister words that you guys used hanuman regiment :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Good one bro! When UBL got killed they rattled the same story .. nothing happend and eventually they had to accept
no your wrong again at the time OBL was killed PAK army never said that the OP was never done they didn't accepted it either because of the public pressure but they never denied it :P BTW do you guys have any proof the such a major operation any proof i mentioned above i mean coords would work too :P

That only depends on what precision you need. Want more? Add GPS shells!
Or replace it with a metric gun as the CEASAR but India doesn't have those.
ETC.

The point I was making that you obviously missed is that surgical means little.
On a terrorist camp in the woods when all are sleeping, that mortar can drop
4-8 shells and kill everyone without any collateral damage. And leave unseen.

Is that clearer? "Surgical" means : to take out only what needs to be taken out.
So if you want to take out an hypothetical skyscraper in the Sahara desert with
a fat nuke and your aim is merely decent, you don't need all that much precision.

In reverse, if you can pinpoint the left arm on an enemy with a pellet carbine, or
even the left hand, that is very precise but useless as they won't be hurt enough
to put them out of combat.
So in this case, one has to wonder if there was a target at all since the strikes
apparently hit ... precisely nothing?

In other words, media talk apart, the art of war is to produce operative results.
When you do, no one cares about the details until next time. When you don't,
it doesn't matter how well it's explained on TV.

8-) There you go, good day to you. Tay.

U did forget to mention that the kashmiri population caught and handed over pakistanis during 1965, informed IA during kargil, and form the HUMINT base in COIN ops.

U do realise that crossing loc is not that difficult, especially of the terrorists do it on a regular basis even after highly complex surveillance mechanism. Pakistan has not invested in these mechanisms coz they never thought their would be any counter infiltration.

Indian surgical strikes were so good that when those who were attacked didn't even know .

Meanwhile in Kashmir, the IA is busy with crops to be put on fire.

The Kashmir violence is alarming the world body.

In Kashmir, Pakistan Questions India’s ‘Surgical Strikes’ on Militants

MANDHOLE, Kashmir — The sound of gunfire awoke Malik Rustam and his family around 4 a.m. on Thursday. Within minutes, they headed for cover in a community bunker, as residents here in the Pakistani-controlled portion of Kashmir have been trained to do.

Cross-border fire between Pakistani and Indian troops is nothing new, but on Thursday, the Indian military claimed it had carried out “surgical strikes” against four camps, including one near Mandhole, used by militants intent on attacking the Indian-controlled portion of Kashmir.

The village of Mandhole is along the banks of the Poonch River, just across the Line of Control, the de facto border between Pakistan and India in the disputed Kashmirregion, which both sides claim in its entirety. Indian military posts within 500 yards are visible.

On Saturday, Mr. Rustam, 22, pointed in that direction and said the Indian troops never left their posts. “They are lying,” he said. “They never crossed the L.O.C.” A group of villagers standing nearby nodded in agreement.

As the latest escalation between India and Pakistan threatened to break the fragile peace between the estranged, nuclear-armed neighbors, residents in Mandhole seemed unusually calm.

Schools have remained open. Grocery stores were serving customers, and buses moved slowly on patchy, winding roads along the hilly terrain. As the afternoon sun sank behind the hills, several women could be seen working in the fields, cutting grass and herding cattle.

Pakistan seemed eager to play down any tensions in the area. Mr. Rustam and his fellow villagers had gathered on Saturday to talk to a group of journalists who were ferried in by Pakistani military helicopters to the Bhimber District of the Pakistani-controlled part of Kashmir, about 100 miles from Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital.

But on the other side of the Line of Control, in the village of Silikote, Raja Nazir, 37, a shopkeeper, said Saturday that residents were still uneasy.

“There is fear in the air, and villagers are on their toes fearing a retaliation by Pakistan after the strikes,” Mr. Nazir said. His village is near the Indian Army base where militants killed at least 17 soldiers last month.

“Those who shout on TV for war should come and live here with their children,” he added. “Then they will understand the cost of war.”

Farooq Abdullah, a former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir State, appealed to both sides to avoid escalating the conflict. “We hope cooler heads will prevail and the cease-fire of 2003 will be upheld,” Mr. Abdullah said.

Earlier Saturday, Pakistani military officers, including Lt. Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa, the Pakistan Army spokesman, gave a briefing in Baghsar, a picturesque, hilly village about 60 miles from Mandhole. Pakistani officials said Thursday that the weapons fire had killed two soldiers and wounded nine. General Bajwa reiterated Pakistan’s claims that Indian troops had fired only small arms and mortars at Pakistani military posts.

Indian troops opened fire at 2 a.m. on Thursday at five locations over an area spanning 155 miles, he said. The gunfire lasted about five hours, but the Indian troops never crossed the Line of Control, and Pakistani troops returned fire.

India said that it had destroyed bases from which militants carried out attacks in the part of Kashmir it controls, and that it had inflicted heavy casualties on the militants. General Bajwa rejected those claims.

“Where did all the dead bodies go?” he asked. “Where were the funerals? Why haven’t the Indians produced any dead bodies if they took them back?”

“Where is the damage?” General Bajwa said of India’s claims of “surgical strikes,” adding that he welcomed an independent inquiry. “Our side is open to the United Nations observers and journalists.”

He pointed toward the Samahni Valley, behind the command post briefing area, and said there had been no civilian casualties or damage to civilian property. At least 100,000 people live in the valley, he said, where small clusters of houses are interspersed with agricultural tracts of land.

Maj. Gen. Muhammad Chiragh Haider, the commander of the 23rd Infantry Division of the Pakistan Army, joined General Bajwa in the briefing.

General Haider has been posted in Kashmir for the past two years and is a battle-hardened commander, having served in the North Waziristan tribal region.

He expressed surprise at India’s claims. “We are observing the cease-fire agreement in a very serious manner,” he said. “We only respond if India opens fire.”

General Haider said the claims were “totally incomprehensible,” adding, “A surgical strike took place against us, and we were not even aware of it?”

Brig. Furqan Moazzam, a brigade commander, echoed his fellow officers when asked how residents were coping with the aftermath of the border clashes. “The valley is right in front of you,” he said, pointing to the vast area. “Life is going on normally.”

You forgot to notice that its 2016, 51 years after the failed Pakistani operation in Kashmir. At the time, terms such as HUMINT and COIN were not used dear. Are you also serving military? So many counter intel ops here. So funny.

If you deem crossing of LOC is easy, than shame on you for finding this as an excuse for the massive security and intelligence failure.

You have no idea what Pakistan has invested in, but tell that to the widows of your infiltration team.

What actually happened with India....

With coming elections in UP, Karnataka and Narendara Modi, home constituency Gujarat state, a huge test for Modi regarding his political constituency...has to win at any cost.

He needed a big war trophy after Uri and Pathankot attacks, the Indian media questioning Modi 56" chest...Indian media went into a war hysteria and asking the Indian government, the Modi to take revenge...show you are worth it...questioning his courage.

Modi left with no choice, asked his army high command about a possible surgical attack, to win back the lost prestige. Indian army has to attack, take revenge after order from Indian political set up...it was a do or die situation.

Indian army knew surgical strike retaliation would be more damaging...they prepared a 'strategic staged set up' to make it look like a surgical attack to meet the demand of the Modi government. An LOC infiltration+intrusion+big cross border firing, kind of a blitzkrieg planned and executed.

Infiltrating enemy was neutralized by Pak army as they knew something was coming, 8+6 killed in different sectors+ 1 deserter. Two Pak jawans also killed....so this is what happened connecting all the dots and combining all the evidences from strategic experts.
