My point is that they did evacuate the body from Pakistan. Why could they have not done DNA tests or take any evidence? The whole story smells like rotten fish.

There is no "proof" of the type you like that Jesus or Mohammed existed, but we have the reliable testimony of eyewitnesses, recordings in books, etc. In other words, the evidence that both existed is overwhelming.

In a court of law, a person can be found guilty of murder even without a body. Other evidence is examined, and if adequate, the statement can be made, "A murder was indeed committed."

Statements and facts are unfortunately two different things. What i gave you are facts. What you are giving me are statements. A statement can nullify another statement like "All Tigers are purple. But some tigers in Siberia are white. Therefore not all tigers are purple." Whereas, you need to nullify the fact that Bin Laden's wives are living examples of Bin Laden being in that compound with another fact. Osama's DNA samples verifying his identity but not public is another fact. Does this mean that this nullifies the other ? No, it does not. Read this section argumentum ad ignorantiam thoroughly. In short, absence of evidence DOES NOT mean evidence of absence. Contextually, an absence of Osama's public knowledge of DNA samples does not mean lack of evidence of Osama's whereabouts.
