I am a Pakhtun and I have hundreds of Pakhtun friends from across the whole of Pakhtunkhwa and FATA. I have become fed up with this rant of Imran Khan about Talibanisation and that it has its roots in the Pakhtun culture. Not one of my friends, who are all Pakhtuns, believes in what Mr Khan claims about us in each and every talk show. We hate the Taliban from the core of our hearts. They have nothing Pakhtun in them. Their names are Arabic, their ideology is alien to Pakhtuns and so are their actions. I am all for freedom of opinion and expression but one shouldn't twist facts to suit one's political and/or personal position.

I like this man for his contribution for pakistan as sports person or as in hospital matters.But remind this ,always he made mistake or wrong dicession either as play boy(now he said it was mistake) or support militery goverment in refrandom(agian he is apologetic),Then after results he change his stance.

I personnally like his confidence and ideolgy.

I am also want the peaceful decission so because of this goverment involved in peace deal but they transfer the ammunation in buner and other front areas,and we make the peace deal not seprate the borders then how they stop the miltiary convey to pass.
Now hammer them first then go for deal and with our terms.

They tried doing that in Waziristan with the Loya Jirga — nothing came out of it. The jirga has to be an acceptable mode of deliberation to both parties — that is not the case here.

i will repeat.

Actually the brutal mass murders of Jirgas, Tribal Elders, Tribal Maliks etc. by the TTP ensured that Lashkars were weakened.
Thousands of such influential people have been killed by TTP so far, i think the figure is around 3000-4000.

The situation spiraled out of control due to lack of key pillars on which resistance was to be based!
TTP is much more brutal than the Lashkars, FC and Army who always want to save lives of civilians and have to show restraint and bear responsibility and anger in case of collateral!
On the other hand the monster of TTP used IEDs, individual assassinations, devastating suicide bombings to destroy everyone who opposed them and created enough fear to stop the average man from opposing them or even giving out information.
The TTP has enormous funding because it has bribed many outlaws into joining its cause...these outlaws helped TTP in targeting all their opponents.

Many influential families were either killed or are practically hijacked by the TTP with threats to life and property.
This has happened in all areas where TTP gained control, the influential people who can rally the masses were individually targeted via bombings or assassinations, many were killed as US agents or outlaws (what a sad joke considering what TTP are...)

The entire network of TTP has to be dismembered and sadly that is not in the capacity of Lashkars, they are best suited for counter insurgency support in their respective areas under supervision of Army, FC and the state leadership.

Once we regain control via Army action and break the strength of TTP then the Lashkars will be much more useful...an excellent plan needs to be in place to protect the Jirgas and the tribal leadership which has been brutally targeted by TTP.

A united action is the most critical thing but Army and FC have to come first due to the enormity of the threat!

There is no grand jirga which can take on TTP, there is a dimension to TTP which no Jirga can come to grips with on its own.

Like i said, involving the Jirgas is very important but all i have quoted above is based on facts and on ground reality...the Jirga alone is not the solution.
PA and FC have to get involved, State has to act in the interest of Pakistan for that is its duty alone!
