Imran promises to constitutionally ban military operations inside Pakistan

Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has vowed to bring in constitutional amendments to prevent military operations against countrymen in any parts of the country. He reaffirmed his commitment not to support military operation anywhere in the country including North Waziristan.
In a TV interview, the PTI chief said that military operations instead of resolving the problems increase them. He said PTI was the only opponent of military operations and would not allow the army to kill its own people.
The PTI chief said that he was not fighting to rule but to save the country. He challenged his political opponents to prove that he got financial assistance or other support from intelligence institutions. He said if it was proved that he had contacts with the intelligence agencies, he would leave politics.
On the other hand, Imran claimed that PML-N was formed by the ISI and Sharif brothers have been exposed in the Asghar Khan case.
He said that neither PPP nor the PML-N can defeat PTI in the forthcoming general elections and made a firm commitment to the people that plunderers and corrupt people would not be awarded party tickets. He said PTI would defeat the corrupt politicians and made it clear that the party would award tickets through parliamentary board and he would have no personal influence in it.
Imran Khan said his party was firm in its ideology and would not enter into alliance with any party for the formation of government. He promised to bring a change after coming to power. He promised to introduce a local government system that would rid the people of Thana culture and corruption.
The PTI chief accused the government and its allies for providing protection to criminals in Karachi and that was the reason that peace cannot be restored in the mega city.

No. Police are too damn incomptent, corrupt and a bunch of cowards. I do agree with your statement thou but till they become better trained, equipped and de-corrupted and disciplined, we need military.
