Sacking generals is not the end goal. End goal is having a normal military that does not commit genocide , killings , land grabbing , corruption or occupy its own people.

Maryam and Co are trying to develop the line that PTI are terrorists. Only problem is that PTI has been abiding by the law, and it’s been difficult to pin the blame on them.

Next time they attack they’ll probably bring their own terrorists, so that it seems like an exchange of fire. Then they can kill lots of PTI followers and drag away Imran Khan brutally.

They need to show the world that they’re dealing with terrorists, and their foreign backers will be pleased to accept it.
