Imran Khan Presents his Resolution , part of Election Campaign

His pride didn't result in his fall, he was removed because he gave people hope for a better future.
IK experienced too much authority which led to him thinking he is above God and then pride had its fall.

Others were there before him, they are there after him. Where as, IK’s attitude became abusive and obnoxious towards every department after his fall. He probably has lost his mind that one day he was in control of everything and the next he fell face down on the floor. He insulted and cursed every department and still uses his forked tongue to hurl insults.

An egoistic and emotional person cannot bring a better future, he can only bring devastation which is seen now. He isn’t the same IK who was humble, with a bit of foresight when he became PM. He has turned into a maniac now turning away from maturity. Hopefully he realises, becomes humble and tactful, then hopefully he gets to be the PM again.

As another has said, populist agenda and nothing more.

There's still a policy necessary for:

  • economics
    • land reform
    • identification of focus industries in 5/10 year proposals
    • fiscal deficits
    • identification of "future cities", these need to be existing locations that can be transformed into self-sustaining urban centers. LAH/ISB/PSH/KHI are no longer viable.
      • vertical cities with building codes (videos of damage from last week's earthquake is beyond condemnation)
  • destruction of establishment, (self explanatory)
  • reformation of bureaucracy/judiciary/military
    • clear cut removal of senior members
    • crackdown on corruption
    • removal of perks
    • 21th century military
      • bring out the drones
      • value of soldier's life, no more "i value death more than you value life" mottos. The purpose of a soldier is to kill his enemy and make him die for his cause.
    • accountability
      • no more post changes in x months
      • individuals develop their desired career development no more xx grade officer from fbr goes to police etc.
  • expansion of education
    • quality education
    • creation of technical schools
    • creation of night schools for laboring children
    • introduction of civics
  • reformation of NAB
  • reformation of healthcare
    • expansion of seats, with more scholarships
    • each student is committed to X years in public
    • top students are directed to research opportunities
  • governance
    • empowered local governments
    • expansion of public parks

Populist policies don't bring about development. Dedicated direction does.

EDIT: I forgot PTI's internal policies

  • No more electables
  • Development of organic internal leadership
  • Policy of no more than X members from a family in PTI politics (oldest living relatives down to youngest living members)
  • Heavily monitored internal corruption prevention by politicians
  • Accountability. Each Parliamentarian is responsible for their constituency's development. Low development = new parliamentarian on ticket.

A interesting viewpoint for a "functional" Decemocracy

For a nonfunctional Democracy we have priorities, the most important being putting the decision making back in control of People
  • Elections
  • Protection of Vote
  • Surveillance of the Polling Both
  • List of people appointed for ballot counting.
  • International Observers
  • Protection of Workers (Life and health) on election Day

All Pakistani trust Imran Khan and his chosen Team member for any policy making.

Election and security of Electoral vote is first mandate

With respect, I highly disagree.

This importance that has been given to IK is not from PTI and its followers, its from those that oppose him.

PTI was to be a baseline, a foundation for a counter-culture party that pushed against the dynasties that have traditionally ruled Pakistan. The mistake that the anti-PTI people make is that they treat PTI as just another dynastic political party, which makes zero sense.

IK didn't get arrogant, his opponents just mischaracterized him and his party.

He will come back to power not because he was amazing, but because his opponents were and are corrupt and incompetent. If he were to complete his term, he would have either won with a smaller number of seats, or had lost.

His opponents in their continued incompetence have guaranteed a victory for Imran Khan. He snatched victory from the jaws of near certain defeat.

This also extends to foreign policy, where despite making some missteps and less then diplomatic statements, the general trend was in the right direction, and not as bad as the current PDM government has done, nearly bringing the nation into an unnecessary war with the Afghans.

IK’s goodwill with the Afghans if utilized correctly, could open up opportunities more quickly in Central Asia and lay the ground work for a mutually respected defacto acceptance of the border. In the short term, both nations can more effectively counter the narratives of IS-K and the TTP.

This is especially necessary if Pakistan is to move past being viewed internationally through the counter-terrorism lens, and use its proximity to Central Asia to shift the narrative towards economics. So in the long term the region will be seen globally as crossroads of trade and mining.

Taking back control and then what?

He's talking that he wants 2/3 majority, and then what? What's he going to do with that 2/3 majority?

Nothing so Pakistan has to wait around for another 45 years for some Pakistan Cricket Team to win the World Cup and hope the Captain's mother passes away from Cancer so he also makes hospitals?

Kamran Khan
@AajKamranKhan

What is left in today's Pakistan?
The Supreme Court has been openly divided, two judges are calling the Chief Justice of Pakistan a one man show;
The sanctity and honor of the army is being targeted in social media;
Parliament is free from opposition;
Foreign exchange reserves are just 3 weeks behind imports;
The IMF has almost turned its back on Pakistan;
The greatest friendly countries are no longer even mouthing for financial help, upset with the internal situation;
The Interior Minister said whether Imran Khan will stay or have the courage to listen to the PML-N.

Bajwa is that you?

They will eat same quality of food as the food eaten by the family they serve
Now how they are going to implement this lol. Most people just give their servants salary and servants eat the food whatever their salary allow them to. Or else the family who provide their servants food are already eating the same food the hiring family is eating.
This is a vague description.
The better solution is to pass a public places act where it's not allowed to let the servant wait in a corner while the family is eating in a restaurant. That way there will be witnesses all around. Unlike in home where you will find biased family members.

His having a 2/3 majority would allow him to avoid the blackmail he was under; he had a coalition of different parties, those with five seats or ten seats demanding things a larger party would. It made no sense whatsoever. So he's right in thinking he needs the majority, so he doesn't have to beg others to get things done. It's easier to feed one mouth than feed ten mouths.

For the time he ruled, if either of the smaller parties split, it would have ruined him; on top of having a supermajority, one can get away with snakes within his party.

Agreed. Which is why the zardaris/bhuttos and not-so-sharrifs are the most humble, honest and efficient leaders ever known to mankind.............. :disagree:

Although I can assure you neither the quoted member nor Mr. Niazi himself understands the basic functionalities of a federal parliamentary republic. A 2/3 majority does not equal mandate to amend constitution, we have seen this dysfunctional understanding of governance model where the government solely relied on executive powers of the Prime Minister and President to drag the country into an administrative crisis and a constitutional deadlock.

This truck ki batti slogans of 2/3 majority are just that, populist slogans.

Bro, what’s your deal?

I am genuinely curious. If elections were held tomorrow, who would you vote for?

I don't answer personal questions but anyone willing to vote under incompetent ECP, a biased caretaker setup and a flawed electoral system is only contributing to the mess and taking unwarranted responsibility.

Democracies vote for policies not a popular contest.
