More than 100 million Chinese toured abroad in 2013 which is the biggest in the world.

People there are not as rich as those in rich nation regarding to the income. But I would say living standard is not too far away. There have many rich people with poor living standard in western countries: no entertainment, no restaurant, no travel....

China does not need to show their capabilities to prove anything.
