China is more diverse than India? I highly doubt that.
Neither do they claim themselves to be Indians.

UNLF camp (India-Myanmar border): The Manipur People's Army has been resisting Operation All Clear launched by the Indian security forces in October 2003.
CNN-IBN Special Investigation Team traveled to the Manipur People's Army camps in south east Manipur to understand what motivates the guerilla force.
Getting to UNLF is a long, difficult trek, four days into dense forested hills, bamboo jungles, escorted by cadres of the UNLF's armed force.
The operational headquarters of 293rd battalion of the Manipur People's Army demonstrates the extent of territory that the UNLF controls over the south-eastern part of Manipur.
The UNLF controls Ukhrul in the East, Chandel in the south east and Churachandpur in South Manipur.
For the UNLF rebels, war with the Indian army is all about fighting for their cause of freedom.
The UNLF contends that the Merger Agreement signed in 1949 between Maharaja Bodh Chandra Singh and the Advisor to the Government V P Menon, was flawed.
“From 1947 to 1948, to be precise 15 October, 1949, the day India annexed Manipur, Manipur was an independent country. That's how it all began - the conflict - the genesis of the Manipur-India conflict,” says UNLF Chairman Sanayaima.
The conflict shows no signs of slowing down, drawing youngsters like Chinjacha - a former national kickboxing champion - into a bloody battle with the Indian army.
“I was a good martial art player. I was a kick boxer and I won three or four medals at the state level and also at national level,” says Chinjacha.
Strangely, the man who leads Manipur's violent secessionist movement once believed in the idea of India.
“I grew up and I thought that I'm an Indian - when I was in school and I thought of myself in that environment. But when I began to grow and reach the level of college & I gradually realized that India is something different from what we are,” says Sanayaima.
Alienation drives these young guerillas.
This unpaid army is high on morale and can fight for years, making it increasingly clear that there can be no military solution to Manipur' s hidden war.

Same can be said about other NE states. In Nagaland, a ceasefire is still there between the Indian army and the independent Naga army called the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak–Muivah), or NSCN(I-M).

Now do not take those soldiers as Indian army soldiers. NE is now in a semi-Independent status. Not fully independent.
Still, those who do not want to accept the truth, I ask them, grow up baby, enough with milk, now its time to chew the meat.
I wanted to thank your for the article.. but i didnt click the thanks button because of the language you used in the end..!!!
And this is what i am talking about, ALIENATION. if the common man in other parts of india dont take NE people into their fold as their own accept them to our culture then they will go more away from us. Its high time that we indians think about it and reform ourselves. And i will no way blame the Indian government, because they can only run according to the constitution, but the common man who love their country and at the same time are ignorant about feelings and the culture of North east people.
First of all, thank you so much for not thanking me. I do not also want to get thanks from Indians. In fact, getting cheap thanks is not my objective.
The North East was never a part of mainland India. They are different from the Indians racially or ethnically, Geo-culturally and in mind set. As oil and water cannot be mixed, the North East Chinese people and the mainland Indians can never be mixed.
I know Indians want to snatch their lands away from them and thats why Indians try to accommodate them into the mainstream. But they are not that stupid, though Indians perceive them so considering their look. Let me tell you, you think a man who has small eyes and slightly flat nose is stupid, but science says its actually the size of cranium which matters in case of intelligence.
What I want to say that you alone cannot determine the attitude of all your Indian brothers and sisters who inflict racist treatment on the North East Indian Chinese people. And of course you cannot change the attitude of the masses. Therefore, when a North East Chinese comes to your India, he experiences the brutal racist treatment and consequently he becomes more furious and feels highly alienated which he might not have experienced in his homeland. He returns home and shares his bitter experiences with his friends and family members. Thus your theory of accommodation to remove the sense of alienation is a boomerang.
Now you cannot wipe out the entire masses of the North East. Either you need to use a nuclear bomb or something like that. Though I personally think GoI can even go to that extent because I know how ferocious its nature is. And if you do not want to wipe out them, then this problem will continue as before.
But mixing of oil and water is not possible. They have been made in that way.
Well you have answered your own questions, you and i live in opposite ends of the spectrum, i see the water half full and you see it is half empty.. that is the only difference.
You are questioning the concept of India, which every inconsequential person who hates India do, You may also note that i as a southie is does look completely different from a northie, doesnt mean that only a country with similar looking faces or races can co-exists, and your comments purely amounts or shows a racist mentality.
And instead of preaching breaking up things, i would suggest you to preach something called peacefull co-existance for a change, and yes its harder than breaking up, but really worth it.
Why do so many Indians have this 'persecution complex'? We want our territory back, not break up India. From what I can tell Pakistan only wants Kashmir back and they would be happy with the current boundary. Co-existence is possible ONLY if all parts are sincere about it.
Then this leads to the next challenge: India's out-of-control population growth. A large population is both a strength and a liability - how do you feed/employ so many people? This too can be solved by immigration to Europe, Africa, America, etc. But for them to accept us we need to be good guests. Human migration is natural over time.
I was responding to the specific comments of Mr. Communist regarding people from multiple races cannot co-exists. Which essentialy means only one thing, break it up.
Hence for your information there is no complex, because all those persecution crap or break up India whines..don't bother or intimidate us or atleast me, because we have confidence in our beliefs and are well educated and informed people and any irrational comments are taken in the right sense it deserves..!!
Well, your solutions sounds scary, as per your solution i see India china where people are growing like termites and eating out the spaces of other people..!!! Brother solution is not mass migration, solution is education..!!!
Even Europe had to 'export' their excess people to Asia, Americas and elsewhere. If all whites went back to Europe their population will be around 1 billion. Even now they have massive challenges with food, resources, employment, space. Education will only get you so far, what practical steps should we take? Ignoring the problem won't make it disappear.

you are blinded in your hate of us.First of all, thank you so much for not thanking me. I do not also want to get thanks from Indians. In fact, getting cheap thanks is not my objective.
see you can call people from chennai as southern chinese but it wont make a difference...all mongloids are not chinese. The North East was never a part of mainland India. your hate speaking again man...you cant speak for us...save it for us.I know Indians want to snatch their lands away from them and thats why Indians try to accommodate them into the mainstream. But they are not that stupid, though Indians perceive them so considering their look.
wha???who thinks like that?i did not even know people perceive intelligence based on looks!Let me tell you, you think a man who has small eyes and slightly flat nose is stupid, but science says its actually the size of cranium which matters in case of intelligence.
try to grasp this....your knowledge of india is both enhanced and constrained by the news you hear...see...read on the internet.I stay in Delhi...have a brother living in guahati ('NEFA')....trust me...i accept that some amount of racialist attitude exists...but that is the smaller picture...there are famous bollywood actors...sportsmen...political players...and army men from the north east...and delhi is full of people from the north east....now i know you'd not bash an eyelid before you post another inflammatory thread...but this is a pakistani forum...do as you like. What I want to say that you alone cannot determine the attitude of all your Indian brothers and sisters who inflict racist treatment on the North East Indian Chinese people. yeah we use nukes all the time communist...saves a lot of time. Now you cannot wipe out the entire masses of the North East. Either you need to use a nuclear bomb or something like that.
