Well, I dont see anything Islamic in it neither do I see anything anti islamic. What I see here, is people just having some fun.
There is no vulgure depiction, no drinking, no rituals.. nothing... Its simply just having to get together and have little bit of fun.

PS: All those animals came from some ancient festivals which had been here in this land for thousands of years. You see Halloween in USA, dont you???

Please do not forget Bangladesh is an Islamic country. Islam is a Bangladeshi Muslim's ideology and Bangladesh is that person's identity. When somehow your ideology is broken, your identity is lost.

Though off topic, but I must say, in 1971, whatever India did, it did for its own sake, and also to attack Pakistan, no intention was there to do good for the Bangladeshi Muslims.

See dude Islam is not a culture, it's only a religion. So people ought to have their own different cultures. And this is something like 'sankranti' as we call in Assam, both Assamese and Bangalis celebrate on this occasion. This is a matter of culture, not religion.

Islam is not just a religion. It encompasses all the aspects of life. Now if someone does not want to follow it properly, nobody can do anything. Islam has integrated in all cultures and has influenced language, cultures, norms everywhere. If it did not have that appeal then it could not possibly spread as the fastest religion on Earth since the 6th century AD.

Name of your country is Bangladesh not bengal so therefor if anything than you should be Bangladeshi Muslim though I prefer Muslim form Bangladesh.

This Bengali identity will not permit you to enter heaven. At the end of the day "La ilah illa Allah; Muhammad Rasul Allah" count which is Arabic not bangla.

So my point is why are you so proud of your ancient bengali Hindu culture when you are momin and your allegiance should be to absolute power of Allah and his Rasul. What is more important than teaching of our Pyari Nabi.

Why is the term devangiri not accepted in islam?!!! and how is urdu more "islamic" than other language? Where in the Quran and Hadith it says that? urdu was not even invented then! Urdu has more Khariboli<sanksrit verbs than any other languge! It's grammer is almost purely khariboli hindi! There are persian and arabic nouns and adjective with minor verbs in all the indo-aryan languages of south asia, whether it is urdu or bengali. How can we term a mere language hindu or muslim?!:S that means if a hindu has a cow it is a hindu cow and if a muslim has it then its muslim??? How are you our friend when you imposed a totally unfamiliar language on us!?

Well, I did not know that, our BDR cant stop black market culture which has been exported across the border. Thats funny.
You have no Idea how strong Bengali culture is. Dont you see how much interest it generated even among Indian Bengalis to come to this thread and comment? Also you need to learn little more about Bengali history, their religious evolution, from hinduism to buddhism to Islam. Bengalis were among the most religiously enlighted people in ancient time. So out of nowhere this part of region became Muslim majority. Dont you have a curiosity to know?

Regarding friend and foe, its not constant and can be found when the time comes. We want good relation with everybody to live in peace and prosperity.
