i think while improving avionics of jf17 . we should also buy westren planes i think jsf f35 is a good option rafale should also be kept in mind
i think it will fulfil our needs if future also
we cant get russian planes because of india
fc20 is agood option for near future

well i guess that if we have good budget our best options are:

to heavily invest on JF17 improving it to 4/4.5 generation high tech plane that can find easy customers over the world! i want to see it replacing the F16 fleet, it should be that good!

secondly we must have a handsom number of FC20 with westren avionic and engine if possible!

we must have a squadron or two, rather about 40 planes which are fifth generation, it can be the F35( if we have money we can do it) or the russian plane through china!
to get F35 we can make US do so by offering a larger projetc that might include some other palnes as well like the latest F15 or F16!
