IAF's Mega Show 'Vayu Shakti' on March 5; 150 jets including Rafale to roar on Pak border

Hmm

You indians are such dishonest critters...

PAF never covered it up.. read and stop lies.

"The Pentagon thus is more inclined to buy the Pakistani version of the incident. That the leader of the PAF fired his AIM-9L missile at the fleeing MiGs but in the heat of the battle his wingman, who too happened to be chasing the MiGs, came in the way. Since the F-16 has a much more powerful engine than any of the MiGs, the heat-seeking AIM-9L lost track and went straight for the F-16's exhaust."

The issue was FF equipment... PAF viper pilots are the very best there are.. something IAF was reminded pain fully on 2019

Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to conduct the Vayushakti-2022 military drill at Pokhran field firing range in Rajasthan next month.

According to The Times of India (TOI) report, a meeting between IAF and the local administration was held recently as part of the preparations for the exercise.

The exercise is expected to involve 140 aircraft, including 100 fighter jets.

The exercise was previously scheduled for this month. However, it is now slated for 5 March 2022.

Vayushakti-2022 will involve a variety of operations such as counter airstrike, defensive counter-air, offensive counter-air, and other demonstrations. It is expected to be attended by Indian President Ramnath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Preparations for the exercise are currently underway with fighter jets honing target-hitting skills, official sources told the publication.

The sources further told TOI that a variety of missiles will be demonstrated during the event.

Drill participants may include Rafale planes equipped with MICA IR/RF missiles, SU-30 MKI, MiG29 UPG, LCA Tejas, Mirage 2000 jets among others
IAF’s Apache, Chinook and Dhruv helicopters will participate in certain activities during the night.

The Vayushakti war exercise is conducted every three years.

Last year, India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and IAF tested the indigenously developed Long-Range Bomb (LRB).

The Indian Ministry of Defence (MoD) later said that the test fulfilled all the mission objectives.

For the last 30 years, I used to hear 'the game changer' myth.
Reality:
Phalcon Radar equipped AWACS - PAF aircraft won't be able to take-off from their air basis - we successfully thwarting that myth till today.
SU-30MKI Mini AWACS - PAF aircraft won't be able to near a SU30MKI's radar range - this myth proved otherwise and India put all her efforts to hide the kill of SU30MKI.
S-400 - PAF aircraft could be shot down even in Pakistan air space - PAF routine flying schedule is going on unhindered. Waiting, if India tries to exercise their such capability.
Tejas, Brahmos, Arjun whatever one thinks in Indian inventory, it is a 'game changer'

Only one thing will be a 'game changer' and that is when India changes her attitude towards all the neighboring countries, nothing else.

Bhai Naya choran (Rafale) haath lag gaya he Indians ke. I remember when they inducted su-30 somewhere in the early 2000s. Their arrogance went over the top. Indians were like "ab tau PAF khair manye our few Su-30s can eat up whole PAF".
Kia hua phir?
Jo su-30 bhaagay tau wapas naheen aye phir palat kar. We were waiting with our air space closed for many days.
Teja bhai ke khair baat chor den.

They should make sure not to cross the line, else they will all end up like their colleague Abhinandan, leaving Modi to lament “if we had some F-35s this humiliation would have never happened.”

"With capability to detect stealth fighters" !!!!
Then do these exercises near the Himalayas. What are they doing in Rajhastan?

Indians dominated the airspace for 20 mins and they needed SOWs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wah ji Wah . Kia baat he.
If you know you can dominate Pak Airspace for 20 mins OR 30 mins OR 40 mins OR 60 mins. All you need is few hand-grenades showering over JEM camp. and JEM wale bechaaray like 'Bachao, Bachao grenade ki baarish ho rahe he'.
As I said before, jo bhaagay tau wapas na aye

Let's see if they dare cross the border.

What about your arrogance after the induction of 10th generation JF17 Tayyarah?
Your entire country will be glassed in retaliation if you even try to launch that many missiles at once, and your military knows it. You can ask them why they backed down from using the mighty BrahMouse in 2019, or why the mighty Su-30mki was too busy running away from AMRAAMs instead of making swiss cheese.

We're well aware of your capabilities. That's why our AF crossed the Indo-Pak border successfully by jamming your surveillance systems and bombed the hell out of JEM camp and thereafter returned to its home base without even getting a single scratch on its back. IAF dominated your airspace for over 20 minutes.

If your performance is worst during aerial combat, then how you'll perform on real time conflict?

Look at you.....found your voice on PDF and have lost your senses....so suddenly Pakistani sources are credible for you....instead of running around like a headless Chicken and grabbing onto straws.....pay attention to what your own Netas and weekend warriors were crying.
BTW, what was your previous ID.....:pleasantry:

'If we had Rafale, results would have been different': PM Modi

And one of the largest airforces complaining and crying to America that Pakistan whipped them with US supplied stick...how shameless can you be.

Well we all know what the mere mention of PAF has done to the IAF .....just imagine if your weekend warriors had to face it in a battle.

And here's another feather in the IAF cap !!!!

In August 1999, Indian .Pakistan hostilities were at a peak, a PN Atlantique aircraft had been shot down by India and the tension on the borders was described as at at knife edge. There were constant air patrols, each side was monitoring the other around the clock resulting in aircraft being constantly scrambled. One of these resulted in two IAF MiG-21s being scrambled from an airfield in Indian occupied Kashmir, in the heat of the moment, while baring down the runway, No 2 MiG got caught in the leaders slipstream and began losing control and it's pilot proceeded to eject, the Indian air controller watching panicked and gave the call for eject without referring to No2, the MiG leader who was by this time airborne assumed that the call is for him so he also promptly proceeded to eject.
Whether an air violation by the PAF materialized on that day or not but it certainly caused the IAF the loss of two aircraft....some sources describe it as the cheapest kill of the conflict.

You and your incompetent airforce bombed nothing but trees and crows pajeet

Even neutral sources say you missed your targets

Balakot Strikes Missed, Targeting Error Possible Cause: Aus Report

Grow up. You failed badly on two consecutive days. Own your failures or else your pilots would keep getting thrashed by our villagers just like Abhinandan

'If we had Rafale, results would have been different': PM Modi

What is wrong in his statement? You guys are misinterpreting his words. If we had Rafale then we could have shot down multiple F16s of PAF. The Sukhois with their R-77 missiles, which have a range that’s shorter than the AMRAAMs, were no match for the F-16s that had better air-to-air weapons. Now there's a silver lining- After the induction of Meteor/Astra A2A missiles, IAF will retain the edge over both Pakistan and China. Also, the much-needed Software Defined Radios (SDR) have finally been inducted into our fighter fleet which will help secure communication without fear of jamming.

LGB-equipped Mirage 2000 was a game changer in the Kargil War and made a big difference for India

Why did they change the date to March 5 from late February? It seems they had to come up with this to counter the new surprise coming their way on February 27. From them to bring 150 jets, PAF might have something big up it’s sleeves other the J10 and JF17B3s😁.

Maybe it’s not even a surprise maybe the truth is simply coming out. I think their intelligence has picked up something and they are really getting anxious.
