IAF Removes its Chief of Western Air Command and Appoints a New one as Tensions Escalate

It's the same story, IAF western command cheif was shown the door right after tonking received at hands of PAF on 27th feb 2019.

He resumed his office on 1st November 2019, after a few months down the line he is changed. Normally under tense situations command changes are deferred.
Wrong.
Even his predesessor served for just 8 months.
Unless Cabinet declares a war like situation officially all 3 star officers must retire at 60 yrs of age.

Not true. Air Marshal Chandrashekars birthday was on 25 Feb 1959. So he was bound to retire by end of Feb 2019 (60 yrs of age).

The sacking of their air chief is amoung the growing evidence that they lost disportionately on feb 27, including an mki, mig21 and mil mi 17 while inflicting 0 losses on the PAF.

The exposure was even more extreme than that, we could have taken out dozens of their jets and high ranking commanding officers including their army chief Bipin Rawat had we decided to pull the trigger, it was a complete tactical, military and communication failure.

Nobody has been removed. Air Marshal Balakrishnan Suresh's birthdate is July 1960 so he is 60 yrs now (superannuation age for 3 star officers) and is retiring on 31st July.
Air Marshal Chaudhari will be his successor.

Shhhhh... some generals give TENSION ON BORDER as a reason for EXTENDING THEIR TENURE... So, such mindset...

They don't feel that successor could be capable and trained enough to handle such issues...

Someone extended his tenure by beating war drum... and we are yet to see a war...

Indian armed forces have a set rules and act as per them...

Come on man. You could've waited for at least two or three smart replies before popping the bubble.

You are too hopeless ;) SMART REPLIES will conveniently overlook the FACTUAL REPLIES...

Then why is a RED alert declared in the Western air command.

What does a RED ALERT have to do with retirement?
His tenure is over and he is retiring... officer who will replace him would be capable enough to handle the RED ALERTS... Plus this RED alert is not limited to Air Force...

By this RED ALERT LOGIC... all officers posted on LOC should never retire :)
