Air Force's Jaguar Trainer Aircraft Crashes In Pokhran, Both Pilots Safe

A Jaguar trainer aircraft of the Indian Air Force has crashed over Pokhran in Rajasthan.

Both pilots managed to eject safely.

The aircraft was on a training mission near Pokhran.

More details are awaited.

So was this aircraft. Which was on a training air to Ground Mission with live loaded unguided munitions in the on going exercise.

However on the topic.

I wish the ejection seats keep working and each Mig21, Mig27 crashes down. JAGUARS have some life left, if upgrade not started within a year, its better each one of them too crashes.This is one way we can get rid of these.

I think its the 5th one this year for IAF. And 2nd one for Jaguar within months. Jaguar is a fine aircraft , but the delay in MLU is making matters worse.

Its better that they crash and ejection seat works.

Since you dragged in Pakistan, you should know that as per you do realize that as per data from aviation-safety.net & ejection.co.uk, since January 2012 till today, there have been 26 crashes of IAF fighter jets whereas PAF has seen 19 fighter jet crashes i.e. a ratio of 1.37:1.
Now taking into consideration the fact the IAF is 1.8 to 2.0x the size of PAF, PAFs crash rate is significantly worse than IAF's.

You repeat same lines whenever you get the chance, first acquire some knowledge on how much of IAF fleet is actually operational and above that the flying hours logged by each air force....and don't forget with the exception of MiG-21 and Mirage-2000 all your jets are twin engine.

Even Su-30MKI is now 65% and will soon match USAF F-15 fleet in availability.

BTW when on earth MiG-27 sprout a 2nd engine.

Yes I already mentioned a previous Jaguar along with MiG-21 & MiG-27 crash.
This only the 4th IAF combat jet crash this year.

They may be rusting but neither have acquired the Indian distinction of the flying coffin.
And since you are trying to prove something, let me remind you, the subject aka the Jaguar aircraft, entered IAF service just a few years before the F-16 in PAF, although Jaguar being twin engine, the IAF has still managed to crash around 54 aircraft, that's equal to three squadrons strength, OTOH, PAF despite using the F-16 extensively have so far lost only 8 jets.
And before you go matching USAF, can any of your fleet claim or attain this record.
