Shchinese the LCA project is getting problems continuously because the IAF requirements are highly dynamic .Where as the CCP pushed the j-10 into the PLAAFS throat even though the PLAAF thoroughly hates that bird .Doing genuine R&D is quite hard when compared to reverse engineering.
PLAAF requested the J-9 project to be stopped at the early 80s as it was clear to them the fighter couldn't meet the requirement.
PLAN refused ALL delivery of the Song class sub from the Wuhan Shipyard last year and 3 sub are still being kept in the open space, with very high probability they will never go into service.
now you tell me based on such well known facts, how you come up with the conclusion that J-10 entered service when PLAAF hated it?
The Japanese hardly spend 1% of their GDP and that accounts to 50-60 billion dollars .
Currently they wing are clipped by the US.If US really wants to contain china all it needs to do is unleash Japan
under the assumption that our DF missiles are all junks. do you believe that? you got your missiles missing after firing, we have satellite knocked down using our missiles. keep this in mind, we are different, this is rule No.1.
For rule No.2, Japan is the only developed nation that can get serious surplus from trading with China. tell me why Japanese citizens/companies should support any aggressive action against China that could cost themselves 200 BILLION USD surplus a year + millions of jobs? to defend India's national interest?
Thirdly, please check what happened between Taiwan and the China mainland in the past 10 years. 10 years ago, Taiwan had all those 3/3.5 generation fighters (e.g. IDF) and wonderful ships, they had the feeling that mainland was just a sinking shitty boat. 10 years on, they found the mainland now building 3-4 054/053 class ships a year, plus a few subs, and dozens of 3/3.5 generation fighters, is it still possible to let them catch up? the same story will be repeated soon between China and Japan. You can even argue that the Korea navy is slightly better than our Navy at this stage, I would AGREE with you. but in ten years, things will change dramatically.
to conclude my post, please have a look at the photos in the following url. students/readers waiting for the opening of the local libraries, this can be observed in almost ALL universities/major libraries in China and I personally witnessed how crazy hard we Chinese can work. we two nations are just different.
