The problem wit people like you is you are too lazy to read the thread and after reading a post of two start asking silly questions.

Read the whole thread first so you understand the context of what I am answering and if you did that you wont ask dumb questions and waste my time.

Read Post 13 , 15, 17 , 23, 24, 25, 26 to know the context of the conversation we were having.

wow! yes I did read said posts and gathered you had flown F-86s and Mirage-IIIs. But you mixed up yours answers in post #30 making it sound like the F-86 had Matra!! So please let's not waste my time either with dumb responses!

I am trying to ask legitimate questions. I am not in a Pi$$ing match about your neighborhood!!

From what I know, PAF got some F-86F-35 which were somewhat under powered initially, but you guys got the bulk of F-86F-40-NA which DID get the upgraded engines.

So you see what I am trying to ask? what did you fly? Sorry, but at my age I get grumpy sometimes...

Kid , going to wikipedia to pick up some facts and coming to PDF to argue with people who have flown those aircrafts is certainly not the way to go.

In post no. 17 I clearly answered which aircrafts I flew and the further answers were in this context.
In your post # 32 this is what you wrote:

Had you read my post #17 and followed the context of the conversation that was going on, you wouldn't be asking such questions.

I don't have time to repeat myself because you are too lazy to read previous posts and jump in the middle of a conversation that I am having with someone else and then make spurious and faulty assumptions and start asking questions based on what you just read on Wikipedia.

Please don't waste my time because you are too immature. and don't argue with me based on what you read in Wikipedia or googled, because if I started asking questions you won't have an answer.

Did you have history with him, to me it looked you were too rude in reply. I mean he had serious question you could have just clarified.

Hey kid, since you mentioned the differences in F-86F 35 and 40 , can you tell me the key difference in those models besides a more powerful engine ?

Any differences between the electrical and hydraulic systems.

Hydraulic, no I don't think, but electrical yes. No, I will be honest I don't know what eventually went to the PAF. Export variants were many.There were many OEMs involved. Some from Canada, other from Australia, etc. That is why I asked.

I know when you got checked out on a airplane, you got all the specifics that went into what YOU were going to fly. That's why the many questions.

So drop your "hey kid" Bull$hit, as I have been there myself. Can you give me a straight answer on ANY of this or do you flat not know/remember?

I can give specifics on what I flew. I cannot give you much more.

I was hoping to get into a mature and intelligent conversation with someone I thought was a professional. Maybe I was wrong.

Not only that I am a former Pakistan Air Force Pilot but also my father was a PAF officer so this story has special meaning for me and why it resonates with me.

I have flown F-86 and Mirage III's in my time. I was in PAF from 1969 to 1975 timeframe.
Nice to see a full blooded fauji pilot on these forums, not the pseudo specialists who don't have a clue but profess to be 'experts' in spite of not even having spent even a day in the fauj, resulting in mind blowing waffling.

You are on the button there. The PAF did get some batches of the Canadair Sabres too.
Some came via (somewhat devious) third-party transfers. But they made up part of the PAF inventory eventually.
