the title of the story is in correct the trainer is not owned by the IAF ................ it is owned by the HAL and it is still under testing unless it is inducted in the airforce it is not an IAF trainer so i would request the MOD to change the title of this thread..................

That's the plan. And the truth is in aero india it looked really good. But two crashes in 2 years have probably set the programme back.

Well India is "designing" it so 10 years later, due to various "delays", we will end up buying new trainers...
