You cannot force 'namaaz' on anyone---you cannot force religion on anyone----but you can force the PLEDGE.

Not entirely correct Under Sharia Law (Hanafi opinion) the one who refuses to do namaz:

1. Jailed,
2. In jail the prisoner is advised on haram. Namaz is pillar of Eman and a major sin to neglect.
3. Prisoner is beaten until he prayers

Under Sharia Law (Hanbali opinion), the one who refuses to do namaz:

Executed!

The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: The difference between us and them (Kuffar) is that of salaah so whoever abandons salaah certainly commits kufr.

Abu Dawood narrated from ‘Amr ibn Shu’ayb from his father that his grandfather said: The Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said: “Teach your children to pray when they are seven years old, and smack them (lightly) if they do not pray when they are 10 years old, and separate them in their beds.”

Sir,

Hanafi or Hanbal's opinion means nothing----

Sir,

There are a lots of ahadees named to the Prophet to show personal ulterior motives----. Hanfi / Hanbal mean nothing---. They are a fraud to meet their own ends---.

There is no compulsion in religion. You cannot force an adult to say prayers---you cannot force an adult to fast---.

It is the most disgusting thing to beat to send someone to prison and then to beat them-----. That shows the PERVERSITY of that guy Hanbal---.

When prayer is between God and man then who the is Hanbal----he is nothing but a piece of who wants to be somebody.

It is stated that Hazrat Umar one time stated that he wants to burn the house of the person who does not pray---but he cannot do that----. What it meant as the Caliph of Islam dare not force anyone to prayer and when a man like Umar cannot do that---then no one can.

You people cannot provide justice to the weak and the poor----but you scums are ready to beat people who do not pray----you are a disgusting bunch of people----where in your presence women are gang raped children molested and you guys stand in line for your turn----but you are ready to beat someone for not saying the prayer and kill someone for blasphemy---.

I die of shame and humility of meeting my maker----does that thught ever cross you people's mind.

On my last visit to Pakistan---I was talking to my cousin's driver---asked him about his children's education---says daughter just passed 10th grade---asked him will he send her to college---he says I cannot----I am afraid----we live in a village---if we send the girl out to a distant college we don't know if she will come back---someone will rape her and kill her----.

And hanbali and hanafi islam wants to beat those who don't say prayers---sickness of mind.

Sir, are you proposing anarchy and murder?

Hi,

It will be a slaughter----believe me---it will be a slaughter---they will be kept alive and their families along with their children executed in front of their eyes----. Everyone of them----and they will be forced to return their loot and plunder to save their children----.

You do not know how sick the Pakistani minds are----. On top of my list is DEO of MULTAN----District Education Officer---he received books to be donated in multan area to 50,000---yes fifty thousand young children in school---. He turned around sold those books for the weight of paper to a paper scrap dealer---.

Where is the anger of the religious fundos over this---where is the anger of those who say to beat those who do not say their prayers---where is the anger of those who say to burn those committing blasphemy-----?

Interestingly I saw Faisal Reza Abidi on Dr Shahid's program saying something similar---.

I don't have funds to start the movement---otherwise---.

Sir, pledge is like new beginning, a promise of new life. People will do it voluntarily once they've taken this. Will you give some time to show their sincerity.

And sir you don't have to have lot of funds, ony if you bring fearless people in NAB like military courts, 95% of your work will be done.

.
I'm in favor, but it should be
1) something unique
2) not only for protection of homeland, but also for progress of the country

Your personal views aside Sir, I do not think one can advocate murder of the members of the judiciary so bluntly on this forum.

Hi,

A lack of justice spreads the cancer of discontent---. It breeds corruption and lawlessness---the very things that destroy the character and honor and honesty in the society---the constituents that hold the substance of the very fabric of the society---.

There is not enough punishment that can be forced upon corrupt judges to make them pay for the destruction that they have caused in Pakistan.

Yes, that may be correct. But one should not advocate murder so openly.

Okay, what difference has saying the namaz, day in and day out, really made in the life of this nation? Adding another passage said by rote won't do anything at all. A nation that recites the anthem without believing in it for all these years will do the same to whatever pledge you might come up with.

Well said.

If don't mean what we say, we don't honor it.

Namaz is a pledge to a metaphysical entity aka God

Pakistan on the other hand is a real physical thing with specific boundaries, maps, etc.

Hi,

I really really believe in the pledge---I think that we need to start a pledge of allegiance---everyday----in schools---in offices, everywhere---in public gathering rather than the national anthem---with your right hand on your heart and recitation in a clear voice.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the Pakistan, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

A pledge of allegiance is a personal promise, a conscientious call, a commitment to a cause that is the nation of Pakistan.

What does the Pledge of Allegiance mean?

I pledge

A pledge is a promise. So, when you say you pledge something you are promising to do something. You can pledge to be good for your parents, pledge to clean your room, etc.

Allegiance

Allegiance means loyalty. When you are a good friend to someone you are being loyal. You don’t say bad things about them; you are always nice to them.

To the flag

The flag is a symbol of our country. When saying the Pledge of Allegiance you typically face the flag and salute or place your hand over your heart to show how serious you are.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of Pakistan

This means that you promise to be a good friend to your country, Pakistan.

And to the republic

A republic is a place where people get to vote and make choices about leaders and what rules everyone should follow. People are free to agree or disagree and it is OK to be different. Pakistan is this type of place.

For which it stands

The flag of Pakistan is a symbol for this type of place, our country.

One nation

The nation of Pakistan, though it has 4 states and administrative units, also works together to be stronger.

Under God

This phrase is intended to show that a higher power blesses or looks positively on the type of place the Pakistan is.

Indivisible

Divisible means able to be divided such as when you cut an apple in two. Adding the prefix “in” means “not”. So, indivisible means not able to be divided. This is just like our country. Our country cannot be separated. Our country is strong and cannot be broken up for any reason.

With liberty

Liberty means freedom. In Pakistan we are able to make choices and do what we want. We do not have to be like everyone else.

And justice

Justice means fairness. The country does its best to ensure everything is fair for all people and nobody is favoured over another.

For all.

For everyone.

So, the Pledge of Allegiance could be summed up by saying:

The flag is a symbol of our country, The Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which is a place where we can make choices, vote and it is OK to be different. This is a country where a higher power thinks we are. Our country will always be together and strong because of that. Our country makes sure people are free and people are treated fairly. I promise to be a good and loyal friend to this country – The Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Taken from the pledge of allegiance of the united states of America.

Good adaptation of US tradition.

Hi,

This fight has been out in the open----they have taken every opportunity to destroy the nation piece by a piece----. I pray and I hope that this thing starts----and then can feel the heat---I pray that they can feel the sharp edge of the blade against their necks and then they will see the documentary of their lives flash by in front of their eyes in an instant----.

.
While I don't believe in a God anymore, Pakistan is like a religion to me. This country comes before anything else!

Iwanted to ask how this pledge alters the state of one's heart?

U can always ignore my questions ,90 pc times they are absurd.

The first person to give this idea publicly will be mutilated and butchered by the bearded nutjobs of our society.
It interferes with the religion? How?
