You can ask me ,however i would like you to double check information also.

We not only got M-4 Shermans, but also M-47 and M-48 Pattons along with M-36 Jacksons.

The M-36 were formed in Tank Destroyer battalions, known as TDU's. These were 30,31,32 and 33 TDU. Then we got a few M-24 Chafee tanks that we lost in 1971.

M-24 75mm Gun
M-4 sherman 75mm gun
M-47 90mm Gun
M-48 90mm Gun
M-36 90mm Gun

Currently, we have M-48 III upgraded to 105mm but in reserve.

Indeed....if @Sarge number is valid for post independence Pakistan (5 infantry divisions).....I think we can assume for now its roughly 10 divisions for India at the same time (and 1 or 2 may have been artillery/armour since I don't think Pakistan inherited any of them).

I just remembered 2/3rds went to India of the total and 1/3rd went to Pakistan.....so if Pak got 5....5*2 = 10...math yay!
