Read those reddened words carefully. 'Martyr' is not exclusively for religion, one can be a martyr for any cause. Lord Byron described himself as a 'martyr for liberty'. In this case, he was a martyr for the sovereignity and integrity of the nation.

If it still bothers you that we use the word 'shahid', then deal with it somehow. It's not gonna change.

I never said "martyr" is exclusive for religions, I said Shaheed is exclusive for Muslims. While your soldiers fit that former definition for you they do not fit the definition of shaheed.
