At least six people were killed and 10 others injured as a microbus carrying a bridal party of the Hindu community collided head-on with a truck in Potia upazila of Chittagong district early Friday.

Potia police told The Daily Star that four people died on the spot while two others were declared dead after being admitted to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

Two of the deceased were identified as Shuruchidhar, 60, and Jodudhar, 40. Other deceased could not be named immediately.

All the injured, including the driver of the microbus, were admitted to the hospital.

Police said the microbus carrying the bridal party from Lohagora crashed into a truck coming from the port city in front of Shahchan Aulia Mazar Gate on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar Highway at about 4:00am.

One of the arrestees is a student of Islamic Institute of Technology (IIT) in Gazipur, who was maintaining regular contact with his bosses in Pakistan regarding the attack on the US embassy, official sources said.

The arrests were made following information provided by LeT leaders who were arrested in Chittagong on November 5 in connection with a plot to attack the US embassy.

Is this another stage drama like "Bombay attack" by India/RAW to pressure Pakistan? To show the world that they (India) is the victim.

I will wait and see how Pakistan response to it....Pakistan need to get all the evidences, BD better give some solid evidence.

The evidence they are giving away is some calls which they say are made from the people they arrested earlier to the later arrested people.

the student was arrested 3 days earlier from the uni campus around 3:30 AM .. then later released .. but last nite again arrested him .. and produced him infront of court.
