You can either become a respected senior member who posts sensible and constructive posts which are backed by arguments and dont flame and create hate

or you can become a senior troll poster by trolling 24/7

By hanging upside down three times a day, for 30 mins, for consecutive three months then report to webby.

Jokes apart, you become a think tank with your quality and informative posts. You don't need to ask for the status, administration around if finds you capable would promote you itself. And yeah, ranks are given according to the quantity if your posts, an automatic process.

Its an automatic process...you wont notice it. What you will notice is the respect you gain from other members, if you give respect. In other words post sensibly without bias.
