And as far as my limited knowledge goes only USN & USAF has a UCAV which they are testing currently all the other countries have just started the project and there has been a common memorandum that the UCAV won't be sold to a 2nd country or proliferated one of reasons why most of the countries are having their own programs.... Now from when did PAF started having a UCAV ??

India doesnt posses precision guided arty,ucav,IFV... also abt other things... we also posses them n in almost equal numbers... how do u lan to ovr run them all ? by a miracle... i guess.

Indian Army and Air force possesses different kinds of UAVs or drones both armed and for reconnaissance in sufficient numbers while the Indian UCAV program AURA is underway.

Precision guided artillery program is also running successfully and small GPS antennas have been developed which can be strapped on the rockets or artillery shell to obtain near pin point accuracy.
And IFVs.... was that a joke ??

There are many more however the forum allows a limited number of graphics... per post.

It would be relatively easier for us to defend... We will also scatter our jets.. plus SAMs like SPADA,RB,HQ-9.....not to forget we have almost equal number of tanks ,... which r more advanced... and than we have numbers on our side with inhouse productio of A-100,Panters and new indigenous arty guns n the rest of advanced precisio strike arty systems.

Indian Army has about 5000 tanks while Pakistan Army has 2640...i.e. almost double according to me.

i.e. almost 500 combat aircraft which would account for an increase of about 30 squadrons which means an investment of atleast 100 billion USD on equipment and pilot training alone not to mention staff, weapon systems, basing and storage facilities..... and more importantly the time i.e. even if we go by 25 aircraft per year delivered then it would take 15-20 years for total deliveries by that time those planes would be old and ineffective against the 5th generation fighters being fielded by the IAF.... BTW what is JF-17 block III ??

Actually, credit where credit is due.
The Gaps between the air forces is HUGE and growing by the hour. The jf 17 buy are just filler, partly for public consumption etc
The army still can put up a fight but after large scale inductions of the latest tech in a few years that wont be too much of a problem either but the PN is NOT to be underestimated.
Their strategy of sea denial is very clever. Today the tech is just coming to age of ASW otherwise the subs have a HUGE advantage. They dont have many overwater ships because it would be a waste of money. Why do you think IN spent so much on P-8INs?

The only area i see pakistan ahead in that is of oncern is that of cruise missiles. 1 crashed tomahawk is very valuable huh?
But the reality is that with a greater scientific comunity and larger research base its only a matter of time till Nirbhay.

The fact is that these problems of the growing distances between india and pak are just reflections of the economies and of the countries in general.
